When I last came here with my partner, there was an art exhibit on which was a nice little touch since it wasnât planned. It was a very culturally interesting trip and it taught me a thing or two about the religion. I would recommend this to anybody in Lichfield who has a spare 30 minutes.

This isn't a quick 20 minute mooch around a cathedral.So much history to see inside we spent nearly two hours there. The place is really beautiful and so much more than a few statues and stain glass windows. The memorials inside were amazing. A section of the cathedral was set aside for memorials to the members of the Staffordshire regiments and most poignant for me was the Zulu shields depicting the Boer War and the battle at Rorks Drift. Will definitely revisit when we go back to Lichfield. So well worth the visit.
