Just had the loveliest time here. We popped in as we were passing and had heard great things. We were not disappointed. The pub is spotless and really well taken care of, the staff were all so warm, especially the waitress Danny. The biggest YESSSS was the food. We shared some spicy dirty fries and a seafood platter, i have to say that for the price we we’re expecting average “pub grub” but that’s not what we got, it was really well prepared, really well presented, really tasty and really well priced. Will be back!

Absolutely fantastic find. We are very impressed with the decor,atmosphere, the attentiveness of the staff (not overdone but very polite and friendly) We came in at around 6.20 on a Wednesday and the place was already busy but fortunately we we told he could squeeze us in. So pleased as the food was superb ( and I don’t say that often) Even the gammon,eggs and chips that my husband ordered had a little bit of a twist to it in the form of a pineapple salsa which complimented the meal perfectly. My chicken supreme came with beautifully cooked parmentier potatoes, a sweetcorn puree and a lovely fresh little salsa. Service was faultless.
By the time we left at 8pm all the tables were full as was the bar.
This is a dog friendly pub in the bar and also has a pretty beer garden with a view of the church tower.

The food and atmosphere were both fantastic. It was certainly one of the more expensive establishments I have reviewed and dined at, but I still felt that I received good value for my money and was completely satisfied after a very, very enjoyable meal. I had the chicken burger, customized to my liking, and loaded fries. I will definitely be visiting again; it was a wonderful discovery!

We went for a midweek lunch and had a great time. Lovely interior and a perfect space for our party (5 adults and 1 baby)
We were served quickly and given drinks promptly. Our mains were ready in good time and everyone was happy with their food. A good amount and delicious too. We will be returning.

Visited The White Horse on Saturday 29th March for a meal and all four of us really enjoyed our food. It made a change to have a meal out and where we all said that was an enjoyable meal with good service and a pleasant atmosphere. I would highly recommend this pub if you want a food that is good value and tasty. Good choice of food for all. Will definitely be visiting again.

Family Birthday lunch Saturday 2pm , 6 adults and 3 grandchildren. Really nice food, good service, even with a big table with kids and variety menu all the food came out at the same time. Price not the cheapest but obviously good quality, the owners are very experienced from previous restaurant and it shows. We’ve been a couple of times and the above review has been consistent.
