Went to the Greek night last night. A packed place with a very happy atmosphere, very good quality Greek food, reasonably priced drinks and attentive staff. Although it's quite small it was very comfortable both upstairs and downstairs. The music was terrific. A great night!

Great food, lovely vibe inside and well thought out decor. Major downfall would be the service, we were the only table in for the majority of our lunch and I sat with an empty glass for 28 minutes. Member of staff sat on the bar on his phone wasn't a good look either quite unprofessional in my opinion

Went for dinner with the family to celebrate my wife’s birthday, we weren’t too sure what to expect as we haven’t been here for a few years and is now under new ownership. We weren’t disappointed, we received a very warm welcome and the staff were all really friendly to us. The food was excellent and really good value for the standard. Also good that the pub is dog friendly.

Been going here a few months now and had a really good Sunday lunch there a couple of days ago. What makes this place a good pub to go to is the attitude of the staff. Clearly we'll trained, friendly smiling and polite.
The Sunday lunch was good. Nice Pork. Two issues, constructive comments, roast spuds and Yorkshire puddings I think had been perhaps sat around a bit too long. Also when going for a drink there is often a lack of seats given the amount of space given over to dining. Might be worth creating a bit of seating space near the bar for drinking and casual dining eg burgers, where you don't need a formal table.
Good pub though and will continue to use it

Have just been for Burns night. OMG the food was absolutely gorgeous. I had the black pudding scotch egg for starters. It was so tasty and cooked perfectly. For me though my main was out of this world. Venison Stew! The best venison stew I have ever had. I congratulate you all for an amazing evening. Delightful food, great service and an all round fabulous experience. Thank you. X

Pleasant wee pub with friendly welcoming staff. Main bar cosy with open fire. Restaurant through rear a little draughty, we weren't they warm, could do with a log burner.

We had a family lunch (for 10 people) at The White Horse. It was our first visit there, but definitely not our last. The staff gave us a warm welcome, as we arrived. They were well organised with our orders and the food was incredible. Great value for such a high standard of both food and service. What a gem of a place!
