Great pub! We booked on the day and were glad we did as it was busy. The staff were excellent and the menu had plenty of options. I had the steak and ale pie which was delicious — crispy chips and a really tasty filling. My friend had the steak and said it was great too. We were too full for dessert! Very well priced overall. Definitely recommend and would go back!

Lively local pub with friendly staff, a respectable clientele and smart decoration. Good range of drinks, especially for a village pub. Food was excellent. Limited vegetarian choices. Loos are clean and accessible from the car park.

Eight of us met for a family celebration of my daughters 30th birthday. We were not disappointed on arrival a really busy bar and restaurant with a great buzz, polite welcoming staff, great menu and fantastic food and drink. Highly recommended and thanks Timmy and team for a great night see you all again soon.

A very welcoming country pub with the most delicious food - perhaps the best roast beef in have ever eaten! Staff were highly attentive, aware of allergy requirements and ensure a very friendly, pleasant atmosphere.

We visited this lovely pub last Saturday with my family and absolutely loved it! It’s such a cosy place with really nice decor and a great atmosphere. The staff were super friendly, polite and helpful, and the food was honestly outstanding! We had the pan-seared chicken supreme, beef bourguignon and butternut squash risotto and OMG, everything was sooo good! The desserts were amazing too. We’ll definitely be coming back soon!

Great pub! Managed to get a late booking for Sunday roast. Parking was full however there was space in the village.
Beautiful decor inside and a lovely feel together place. Friendly staff too.
Large food options available for a Sunday. The gammon was huge and the veg very tasty. Only downer was one dessert available out of 4. Still the mocha fudge brownie was delicious! Lots of events and food nights on. We will definitely be back. Thanks

We had a lovely afternoon in this pub. Flo the bar staff was a star and was very accommodating with the children and dogs. She really went above and beyond.

Been coming here for a while now quite regularly and always had a fantastic experience. It occurred to me tonight I had never actually done a review, so after another lovely meal I thought I would take a few minutes to write one!
Ambience is always great here, there’s a buzz about the place. The staff are really friendly and smiley. But the food…honestly never had a bad dish. Every single thing is delicious and beautifully presented every time.

Met family from that area for a meal and most definitely wasn’t disappointed! Gorgeous village location, beautiful pub and the food was fantastic with very generous portion sizes and the prices competitive. The staff were very friendly and the service fantastic.
