Good break which could have been better.
Location convenient, rooms great, food great, lovely spa treatments and general hotel nice.
Would have got five star if:
* the restaurant procedures were tighter to ensure sequential arrival of drinks, starters and mains; and
* the spa pool facilities were all available with increased oversight / management from the on-site team.

I’ve enjoyed staying here in the past but this time I was caught out by the additional charges for the Spa - not something I had encountered before. Bar menu was a bit limited especially when one of the items was unavailable (steak pie). Service was attentive and polite but I will double check the small print if returning again.

Stayed for a girly weekend with my sister. Had an amazing time, we stayed for 2 nights but wish we had booked more. It was so relaxing and all the staff were wonderful. I had a massage done by Chloe and I have to say it was the best one I’ve ever had. I would totally recommend the hotel and treatments.

Dinner options very limited for vegans/pescatarians. More choices definitely needed (if they hadn’t of eaten fish, I don’t believe there were any options for vegans).
Breakfast was also underwhelming. Only vegan special was avocado on toast, which was was not eaten as did not taste good at all. Waited for more choices to be topped up on buffet but nothing ever arrived.
Surprising that gym access is not included in the room price. Tried to access to then find out it wasn’t included, so did not want to pay extra to use.
Overall, some aspects were great, but food in particular was poor for those with dietary requirements.

Kettering Park hotel is certainly one of our favourites! We have already stayed on four occasions and will be returning. The hotel has lots of facilities. Our rooms have always been spacious and clean. The staff in all departments are very helpful and friendly. We like the blackboard notice in reception telling us about places to visit such as Wickstead Park, great for children and Beckworth Emporium which is a show place for local produce, garden items and modern home ware. The Spa at the hotel is lovely, clean and though we didn’t have any treatments this time, they are available.. We thoroughly recommend Kettering Park hotel. It is a wedding venue so you may need to judge your timing although we have never had any problems.

The hotel is a really welcoming place to stay and I have enjoyed using this as my base to stay while working locally. The rooms are smartly furnished and well equipped, and the staff I spoke to at breakfast and dinner were all welcoming, polite and thoroughly professional. The only slight issue I experienced was in my particular room (315) there seemed to be no mains sockets near the bedside table, which would have been helpful for charging my phone over night. I have stayed at this hotel in other rooms where that hasn't been a problem, so probably just worth checking at the time of reserving. Other than that, I had a very pleasant stay, and look forward to staying here again over the next few months

The welcome we received from all members of staff was amazing. They all listened attentively and addressed questions that we had. Even when we had to wait for a while for our evening meal, all staff were apologetic. The spa was amazing: clean and relaxing and again staff were all very friendly and professional. Will definitely return soon for a weekend of relaxation!

Very easy to find and park at the venue. The room was excellent. The only issue was the service at meal times was quite chaotic. However all in all a very lovely visit. Pool and spa was a highlight!

What a lovely spa we have found for our little breaks away! Staff were lovely and food was great we didn’t have treatments but spa facilities were lovely! Defo be back and also gym was so nice super clean small but equipment was great!

Kettering Park Hotel & Spa is the kind of place that makes you feel a bit posher the second you walk through the doors. We went for a friend’s birthday meal and spent the evening pretending we were far fancier than we really are. The food was excellent, the kind of plates that arrive looking like they should be photographed before being eaten, and then taste so good you forget to take the photo anyway.
The service was just as good. Glasses never sat empty for long, plates vanished with magician-like speed, and the staff managed to be attentive without hovering like overzealous seagulls. Everything ran so smoothly it felt like they had rehearsed the evening just for us.
By the end of the night we were full, happy and quietly debating whether it would be socially acceptable to move in permanently. If you need somewhere for a special occasion where the food and service are on point and you can pretend you’re in the final of MasterChef, this is it.

I always feel when given the non-refurbished allegedly superior room like I have been slightly ripped off
In addition the same fault on the air-conditioning and heating unit was present approximately 10 months ago and I reported it then but still the same issue persists

Kettering Park Hotel offers a beautifully classic British style — the decoration is elegant without being over the top, and it creates a very cosy and inviting atmosphere from the moment you walk in. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, always ready to assist and making us feel well looked after during our stay.
The restaurant inside the hotel was another highlight. The menu had a good variety, the food was delicious, and the service was efficient yet warm. It’s definitely worth dining in rather than looking elsewhere.

As we were travelling to Norfolk we used the Kettering park Hotel as a half way stop over and stay two nights a week apart.
Upon arrival we received a very warm friendly and professional service(apologies I don't know the lady who checked us in but she provided excellent service).The hotel was perfect for our one night stay, Spa was excellent to relax before dinner.
The hotel ordered flowers for the room, as it was our anniversary. Excellent quality and well presented with a card from me and the hotel.
The restaurant was excellent, Teresa was an excellent host, friendly and professional. We were served by Eloise, great friendly service. Eloise remembered us from the previous week stay, very polite, friendly and professional service.
Overall my wife and I had a very good stay at the hotel, all staff were excellent.
