Feb 28th 2018 - I had a complimentary evening meal here with 6 others. It wasn't busy but maybe the freezing weather kept people indoors. Lovely ambience in all areas. None of us could find fault with any of it. I can personally recommend the tomato and basil soup - it was probably the best I've ever tasted. Also, the steaks were cooked to perfection and meal portions were generous and nicely presented. The waiter (should've asked for his name) was polite, attentive and courteous. I was so sure I'd remember the names of the Prosecco and red wine we had, but I don't. However, they were the nicest I'd had in a long while and it'll be worth going back for those alone. I would say the prices are typical for a hotel restaurant but given the quality of the food and service they are justified. I will definitely be eating here again and recommend that others try it too.

Took the partner away for a weekend at this spa, booked in 3 different treatments, full body repair, facial and body scrub! I recommend all treatments as they was amazing !!
They have a lovely pool area which the room is so warm feels like abroad not too hot it's uncomfortable tho! Pool temperature is quite literally perfect lovely little Jacuzzi in the corner which has a timer onit 10mins on 5 mins off which keeps a rotation of people which I think is a good idea, sauna and steam room are clean and good temperatures, they do need to keep up on the floors I did notice it abit hairy at points of the day which i don't like but had sliders so solved that nicely.
They have a very nice a la cartè menu and according to their board in the restaurant their foods are sourced locally which is good.
They do have a gym itis the basics on strings but there is enough there to get you by even as a serious trainer, no benches for health and safety reasons..
I unfortunately didn't get any photos as left phone in the room all the time it was such a lovely relaxing time I didn't even think. My apologies
