I would like to thank all the staff at the Kettering Park Hotel for making my Daughter Ashleighs wedding day a truely SPECIAL day. I must give a special mention to Petra who made sure the day ran Smoothly and arranged everything to perfection. She is a huge credit to the hotel.

This is a nice and quiet hotel, with good in-room and hotel facilities. The swimming pool is excellent and was a nice treat to have on my day there.
The only complaint I have is about their restaurant, and it is as follows. On Sunday, 2nd November, when I went to the restaurant, the Host had got some details of my booking wrong, and offered me 'a complimentary drink' as a gesture, which was much welcome.
However, at the time of settling the bill, she served me the bill and charged £9.99 for the 'complimentary drink' which she had offered me, and for which I didn't get to pick one from the menu. I hope the front office management of the hotel will take note that it is distasteful and unfair for a four star hotel to offer a freebie to a customer, only then to charge for it, as a way of making additional revenue.

Room was great, as was pool/sauna.
Dinner options very limited for vegans/pescatarians. More choices definitely needed (if they hadn’t of eaten fish, I don’t believe there were any options for vegans).
Breakfast was also underwhelming. Only vegan special was avocado on toast, which was was not eaten as did not taste good at all. Waited for more choices to be topped up on buffet but nothing ever arrived.

Overall, some aspects were great, but food in particular was poor for those with dietary requirements.

The hotel is ok, we spent two nights there as it was our anniversary.
The only problem and let down we had was that, the room has an adjoining door and we could hear the people in the next room chatting loudly which was annoying. The room number is 224, it would have been better if there was a wall instead of a door. I wouldn’t actually stay here again. The breakfast was ok, and the dinner was ok. Also the staff are friendly.

It was a wonderful stay with our children as a treat. My husband and I had a lovely massage. The kids adored the pool. We sat by the open fire for hours and hours just taking in the ambience. The family room we had was lovely. Very clean and spacious. We all slept really well. We left feeling refreshed and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Will definitely return. The only downside was we missed having some hash browns for breakfast!

Kettering Park hotel is certainly one of our favourites! We have already stayed on four occasions and will be returning. The hotel has lots of facilities. Our rooms have always been spacious and clean. The staff in all departments are very helpful and friendly. We like the blackboard notice in reception telling us about places to visit such as Wickstead Park, great for children and Beckworth Emporium which is a show place for local produce, garden items and modern home ware. The Spa at the hotel is lovely, clean and though we didn’t have any treatments this time, they are available.. We thoroughly recommend Kettering Park hotel. It is a wedding venue so you may need to judge your timing although we have never had any problems.

Would have got five star if:
* the restaurant procedures were tighter to ensure sequential arrival of drinks, starters and mains; and
* the spa pool facilities were all available with increased oversight / management from the on-site team.

I’ve enjoyed staying here in the past but this time I was caught out by the additional charges for the Spa - not something I had encountered before. Bar menu was a bit limited especially when one of the items was unavailable (steak pie). Service was attentive and polite but I will double check the small print if returning again.

What a lovely spa we have found for our little breaks away! Staff were lovely and food was great we didn’t have treatments but spa facilities were lovely! Defo be back and also gym was so nice super clean small but equipment was great!

The hotel is a really welcoming place to stay and I have enjoyed using this as my base to stay while working locally. The rooms are smartly furnished and well equipped, and the staff I spoke to at breakfast and dinner were all welcoming, polite and thoroughly professional. The only slight issue I experienced was in my particular room (315) there seemed to be no mains sockets near the bedside table, which would have been helpful for charging my phone over night. I have stayed at this hotel in other rooms where that hasn't been a problem, so probably just worth checking at the time of reserving. Other than that, I had a very pleasant stay, and look forward to staying here again over the next few months

The welcome we received from all members of staff was amazing. They all listened attentively and addressed questions that we had. Even when we had to wait for a while for our evening meal, all staff were apologetic. The spa was amazing: clean and relaxing and again staff were all very friendly and professional. Will definitely return soon for a weekend of relaxation!

Very easy to find and park at the venue. The room was excellent. The only issue was the service at meal times was quite chaotic. However all in all a very lovely visit. Pool and spa was a highlight!
