Girton Golf Club, situated a few miles out from the city of Cambridge, welcomes golfers of all ages and standards as members and visitors and actively encourages societies. The course is locally renowned and it even has an indoor state of the art swing studio.
As well as enjoying around a dozen rounds of golf at Girton I regularly attend their Friday night quiz that is on during the winter months. Maureen the quizmaster is an absolute star! Last month I also attended a business networking even there and the breakfast was fantastic as well as being a great venue.

Steve has just completed a great job on the outside of our house. He is a rare find in the trade: someone who does what he says when he says he is going to do it. His work is of a high standard and competitively priced. A couple of extra jobs he found while here (cracked pane of glass/worn sash-cord) were done efficiently, to a high standard and at an extremely reasonable rate. We are thrilled with the results of his hard work. The final cleaning he did was a revelation (see web-site). He even worked happily around the family during the holidays. We would recommend him highly.

Nice and spacious apartment for a family
Excellent customer service and communication by the host. Perfect location near the train station (don't worry you won't hear the trains at all) with different supermarkets, loads of cafes and take-aways nearby. The apartment is super spacious, with a very nice living room & dining area, facing at the small park amongst the buildings. It is fully fitted with all kitchenware, dishwasher, washing machine with tea, coffee, washing tablets etc provided. The city centre is about 15-20 minutes walk, or you can take one of the few buses (1, 3, 7, X3) from the station. Booking the underground parking with the host is highly recommended if you are arriving by car. Very comfortable stay for a family of 4.
The only downside is the high temperature. With all the heating turned off it was permanently about 24-26 degrees, so we had to keep the windows / balcony door open all the time. (end of March)

Near train station. Very convenient to take bus to city center. Nearby have many shop for breakfast lunch and dinner, so it is very convenient.
Bathroom basin always stuck, water couldn't drain out .
