Ben is a friendly and highly professional driving instructor. I would highly recommend anyone to learn with Ben. He was a calming presence throughout and offered me flexible driving lessons to fit around job in Cambridge. I passed first time In around 4 months. Again, would highly recommend Toad driving school!
Sue did an excellent job training me up for my trailer test, only a morning training was required before passing first time. She made me feel at ease throughout training and on the day of the test. Would throughly recommend
Sue did a great job got me threw b+e trailer test with only 3 hours training and I came out with only 2 driving faults lovey lady and makes you feel total at ease thank you very much it was a lovey experience ....
I passed my B+E license last week thanks to Sue, from contacting her to passing the test was only 3 weeks. Sue went above and beyond the training I was expecting and you can tell she looks after her car and trailer which makes the whole process much easier. I will be recommending her to anyone who asks me where I completed my training. If you are considering doing the B+E licence and live in Cambridgeshire then give Sue a call!
Ben was an incredibly supportive driving instructor who always made me feel at ease in the driver's seat, especially if I was feeling a little nervous. He was always on time when I had a lesson, his instructions were clear and I came out of every lesson feeling as if I had improved. I had a very small time period that I would have liked to have passed and he guided me in a way that I could achieve this. I would recommend him as an instructor to anyone.
Sue is a fantastic driving instructor. She is fair but firm and leaves both pupil and parent confident. Sue takes the time to explain any areas that need more practice. I would definitely recommend her.
Sue is an incredible teacher. After having over 30hrs of lessons with another driving instructor I was still a bag of nerves and didn’t feel at all confident behind the wheel and failing a test I was at rock bottom and about to give up on the idea of driving but someone suggested to give Toad a ring.
It was the best decision I could have made the driving lessons are night and day compared to my previous instructor and I wished my first experience of driving was with Sue, straight away she put me at ease and opened up a dialogue where I could explain my fears and bits that scared me on the road. Sue was understanding and began to break down all my fears bit by bit so as not to overwhelm me but to build me up.
Sue is innovative in her technique and really crafts her lessons to help you progress we have gone on foot to walk around difficult junctions to get a better look from different angles and understanding the flow of traffic. My favourite so far has been her sound machine that gives you a sound effect to keep you on track with how well you're doing on observations and it sounds nutty but it really works and its fun.
I can’t thank Sue enough for all the help she gave me to pass my trailer test. I was so nervous about messing up but she gave me the skills and knowledge to help me keep calm. Sue is so patient and really good at explaining how to do something in different ways. Most places do intensive courses with the training one day and test the next, sue doesn’t do it this way and I can see why, It would be too much pressure and after a few hours of driving I was knackered. It helped having time between training and the test to process everything I had learnt. I took the test in Leighton buzzard, which initially I was nervous about because I didn’t know the area but it actually helps to not know the routes as it helped my concentrate more. I would highly recommend sue as an instructor, I couldn’t of passed first time without her
I highly recommend Sue she is kind, friendly and professional she helped me through my nerves and told me she had absolute faith in my ability, I felt at ease instantly with Sue and was able to pass my BE test first time. Many many thanks to her reassurance and calm influence.
I recommend Sue Papworth from toads Driving school because when I first came to Sue I was so nervous and scared of Driving didn’t take her long to change my views on Driving and make me the confident Driver I am today she makes you feel at ease when Driving and really cares about every individual she teachers! I had Sue in the car for my test which made me feel a little more at ease just knowing she is there helps a lot!
We can’t thank Sue enough, her calm and friendly approach put our daughter Georgia at ease from day 1 of her driving lessons. Not only did Sue take Georgia all around Cambridge, she also took her to Hunstanton with another learner, one drove there and the other back, with lunch by the sea, it was a lovely day out and great opportunity to drive a further distance than usual. We’re so please to say, thanks to Sue, Georgia passed her test first time and we’re so grateful for her help and fantastic teaching.
Had Sue teaching me to drive and managed to pass first time. Couldn't have asked for a better teacher, she was always patient and went at whatever speed I felt comfortable with. Made me a very responsible driver.
Thank you, thank you so much to Sue for helping me pass my B+E today! So lovely and helped me improve my confidence loads, I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to take their test in the future!
I passed my test first time today with Sue. Stressed the importance of observations and it worked. Hope fully the planning and awareness skills will keep me safe the rest of my life. Would recommend 10/10
Friendly and experienced instructors that know how to prepare learners for real world driving in a way that is best for them. All round very positive experience and feel confident on the road due to their lessons. Helped me pass first time and have helped many others to do the same.
