Really great place to bring young kids. Feels like a mini Disney Animal Kingdom. Lots to do and see. Soft play, dinosaurs, zoo, mini beach, climbing frames, train. Loads of fun. Beautiful animals in the zoo and I love the themed areas.

The only criticism I have of the place is that it closes too early, especially in the summer when days are long. Traffic meant we got there a bit later then planned and we didn't even get around to seeing the wolves, beach or going on the train so. that was dissapointing. It was still bright and and sunny so felt way too early to leave at 5:30.

Tickets are available the door for £1 extra each, despite the website saying otherwise. Had we known this we wouldn't have booked in advance. We would have probably chosen a different day to come when there wasn't so much traffic for us as we came a long way. We would have rescheduled to make the most of our day and time there as tickets were not cheap. Although I appreciate that under 2's are free.

Get there early to avoid disappointment!

Other then that we had a great time and would reccomend.

Fantastic day out; first visit for about 20 years! Very well run and outstanding customer service from the staff in the discovery centre. Very inclusive of my wife's need for an assistance dog and first hand help from the CEO Lynne as we were not aware assistance dogs were prohibited in the main parts of the park

We love Paradise. Great selection of animals. Good food stalls. Really nice play areas including playgrounds, splash pool, soft play and large slides. Dinosaur train is really fun and the dinosaur experience is one of the best we've seen and we've seen alot! Reasonable pricing. We are members and go all the time as it just has everything we love. Mini gold available too. They offer lots of different experiences like night time dinosaurs and summer evenings.

A birthday trip to visit these beautiful animals. A fantastic family day out. For me, being an adult, it's about the animals and the work put in, for the consevation, of endangered species. The sunbears, I think, we're my favourite for entertainment and the mum and son red panda were very active, this visit. I love visiting and will hopefully be back very soon.

A lovely well kept Zoo the animals all looked healthy and it was a pleasure to see them. The new area for the bears is spectacular. Do wish some of the other residents had a bit more space though. Well worth a visit though.

Really good zoo, the place was clean and tidy, and all the animals look well cared for. The dinosaur train rode all looks a bit tired, but otherwise it was great.

It's not the biggest zoo, but all the animals were visible on the day we went and the staff are all knowledgeable and friendly. The kids (and us) all enjoyed the keepers talks about the animals. As a consequence, we managed to fill a day from 11am to 17:30

Such a lovely place.
Lots of animals to see, our favourites were the otters and big cats.
Everywhere is very well kept and looks good. The dinosaur part was really good too.
Our children are 10 and 12 so a good family day out.

Lovely Day weather wise and topped it off with sitting with the Meerkats. Visited years ago when our boys were younger. Great Day out. (Much nicer than Colchester Zoo)

Small but well organised zoo, the big cats, white lions and tigers seem to be the main attraction, there is a dinosaur park with animatronic models that are impressive but they also have fictional dinosaurs from the movies which look impressive but are not educational. You will be hard pressed to spend the entire day there unless you follow all the tour chats. Other highlights are sun bears, penguins, and meerkats. Plus plenty of smaller animals. My favourite is the snow leopard but it's a relatively small enclosure.

Very good park.
However money value wise I found it quite expensive.
There is loads for kids to do park wise however considering it being a zoo there was knowhere for petting any animals or feeding without paying alot extra.
Restaurants within the park were also very expensive

Perfect size Zoo for younger children, lots to see and do including a splash park in warmer weather. Easily filled the day and my 3 year old walked all day which wouldn't be possible for her at the larger Zoos. We went on a Fri in the school holidays and it was busy but not overly so, lots of toilets and food was reasonable. A great family day out

Nice but a little small. Seems to be more play area’s than animal enclosures so very well suited to younger children.
