My 8 year old is a huge fan on One Zoo Three on CBBC so a day out at Paradise Park was on the cards for Mothers Day.
What a superb Zoo. The animals are impressive, very accessible and all looked very well and happy. The public areas were all clean and well maintained and all the staff very friendly. Our tortoise talk was fun and informative and held our little boy’s attention throughout. A lot to see and do in one day so a return trip is being planned.
One the negative side the food availability is, as with all attractions like this, very disappointing. Low on quality but high on price and due to something that was never entirely explained we had to wait an hour for noodles with chicken although there was chicken right there when we ordered it.

Being a fan of the TV show my boy was disappointed that there wasn’t any merchandise with them on it (apart from one page in a calendar). An opportunity missed me thinks.
However it was nice to see one of the brothers actually there. My boy got very star struck and shy at that point.

A great day out. But take a picnic.

Paradise Wildlife Park (soon to be Hertfordshire Zoo) has really improved over the years. Great staff, facilities and the enclosures are all very clean and well kept.

Tip - go to the Bamboo Kitchen for lunch and time it to see the tigers being fed whilst you dine in :)

Much better than what I was expecting. The dinosaur area was particularly good. Lots to do and the perfect size to spend the day there. We will be back.

Annual membership is so worth it. The park has so much to offer and every visit is a new magical memory added to the log. It's run by an incredible team of people! Looking forward to seeing what incredible changes the park goes through in 2023 and 2024.

Great place for a day out with the kids. You do have to try and drag it out a bit tho with a picnic and the park to make it last the day. Also love that as a disabled lady I get a discount and a carer place for free. Just showed my blue parking badge.

It's the best and only proper Zoo that is near lots of people. Sorry but don't listen to the bad comments. Yeah animals need to have plenty of room but they have made all their enclosures bigger than they were before so not sure what people are talking about just finding something to moan about. I have been coming here since I was little and. I am 25 now and it has improved so much and it's better now than when I went when I was little. The only thing bring back the tractor ride that was enjoyable.
