We booked a mini zoo keeper experience. This was an utterly brilliant 90 mins. Simon our keeper was so upbeat, friendly and knowledgeable. Our 10 year old daughter loved getting up close to the animals. Lots to see and do and everything was close together. Perfect for the younger ones to run around and explore. Very much recommend.

Great Zoo for the smaller child, you can see the animals so close and my boy loved the world of dinosaurs so much.
The food is also reasonably priced and great park and soft play facilities.
Great day out for small children and no need for a pram as there’s little amount of walking between animals.

Fantastic zoo. There is lots to do there for small children. Animals are well looked after. Plenty of places to sit and can take your own food or purchase food ans drinks there.

Visited a few years ago and did enjoy the day. Loved the big cats.
Wanted to return recently but just cannot afford or justify the price. £60 off peak for myself and 2 young children. Went to Colchester zoo instead and it was £32 cheaper. I think charging that much for a 2 year old is hard on us.

Very entertaining and beautiful zoo. I love how nicely the places were designed for the animals and the garden details where the visitors are walking.
My only critique is that it would be great to have more nappy changing areas around the restaurants.

Advance ticket 10% discount. They charge for all visitors including older than 2!! Parents + 18 years old + 3 years old child you pay £100 at the door!! Plus food is like plastic as usual plus zoo is not wow… i gave 4 stars for dinosaur part. They tried to make something different…

Made for kids and adults. Easy parking and access . Speedy boarding if you are an annual member. Dinosaur Park VERY realistic!! Ice creams not expensive.

A lovely day out at Hertfordshire Zoo. All the staff we spoke to were really friendly and helpful. We did the Feed a Big Cat experience with the keeper Shirley and fed the Snow Leopard, Jessie. It was a great experience, Shirley was really helpful and knowledgeable.
The rest of the day we enjoyed seeing the newer exhibits including the Jaguars and Sun Bears.
All the animals are clearly well looked after and it was a really nice day out.

We loved the animals, some of them were really cute! The Red Panda was very cute and adorable. The Lion was amazing. The leopard was cute but it was slightly injured, this made me a little sad, I hope it is okay now. The dinosaur sprayed water at us, it made me really excited. The staff were really nice. The zoo was really fresh. It was cold, windy and rainy but that was not a problem.

Amazing place. When you become an adult things don't always seem as good, not this place, its still just the same obviously with slight change as the years have gone by. Very impressed with the dinosaur walk through also

Huge recommendation for families - it has a lot on offer and it’s extremely kid friendly.
Groups with no kids I think will still have a good time but temper the expectation a bit to avoid being disappointed.
My only let down would be the zebras pen as it look quite bleak - I do accept that could have been the time of year and weather so I’m holding no judgement.
There seems to be a lot of work upcoming so I look forward to attending again.
