Small but well organised zoo, the big cats, white lions and tigers seem to be the main attraction, there is a dinosaur park with animatronic models that are impressive but they also have fictional dinosaurs from the movies which look impressive but are not educational. You will be hard pressed to spend the entire day there unless you follow all the tour chats. Other highlights are sun bears, penguins, and meerkats. Plus plenty of smaller animals. My favourite is the snow leopard but it's a relatively small enclosure.

Very good park.
However money value wise I found it quite expensive.
There is loads for kids to do park wise however considering it being a zoo there was knowhere for petting any animals or feeding without paying alot extra.
Restaurants within the park were also very expensive

Perfect size Zoo for younger children, lots to see and do including a splash park in warmer weather. Easily filled the day and my 3 year old walked all day which wouldn't be possible for her at the larger Zoos. We went on a Fri in the school holidays and it was busy but not overly so, lots of toilets and food was reasonable. A great family day out

Nice but a little small. Seems to be more play area’s than animal enclosures so very well suited to younger children.

We visited this place for the 3rd time in 3 years. Kids still love it. Dinosaur walk was good fun with educational facts written next to each one. Great place to take photos. Zoo was also amazing, everything close by so don’t need to walk a lot to get from one place to another. Good variety of animals and managed to see most with good views. Dinosaur meet and greet, jungle dance shows, and the children’s soft play area were a great addition. They even have a dedicated multi faith prayer room which was very convenient.

So impressed! The dinosaurs and Jurassic Park theme is so well done my 3yr old grandson was absolutely in awe! The zoo is equally well set out, clean, clear signage, plenty of refreshments all around the park. Lovely safe play parks for the little ones and ample seating for picnics. Thoroughly recommended.

It was really fun, entertaining and interactive which my son loved (he's just under 2). There was however a lack of animals compared to other zoos as theres more activities for the kids. I didnt know there was a beach area for kids to swim, otherwise I would have brought his swimsuit but he had fun otherwise.

Great place for a day out with family. Wish it could be bigger but still a great size zoo. Food and drink pricey but expected. Will definitely visit again 👍

I was so impressed and will be visiting again! We live near and visit Colchester Zoo frequently and love it, but my son loves One Zoo Three so as a half term treat we visited. I now wish we lived closer to here! It’s got everything - zoo animals, great play parks, a pool, soft play, train and insanely excellent dinosaurs. It exceeded my expectations. Meeting Cal, Aaron and Tyler made my sons day - they were excellent with all the many many many children! And the food was good quality. Park clean and easy to navigate - no too large for little legs. Can’t wait to come back!

Great place, as per the other reviews, the place is just getting better and better. You can see they listen to feedback in the reviews and are investing in the future of the park.
I went for my God Daughters birthday, we were a party of three adults and two young children. However, I wouldn't hesitate to go with the children alone, it was a safe environment where children can be in eye range without worrying about their safety. As others said lots of windows for young children to see animals through without having to be picked up. The children really got the full experience.
The staff seem genuinely happy in their jobs. I even chatted with one of them about how much I was enjoying and they said how much work goes into the place, the amount of changes made over the last few years.

A couple of things I noted...
The train ride, it wasn't operated on time, which left children hanging around in the heat, despite arriving on time the driver of the train had his head down while the train was in motion) if this was in a car, I would be questioning if this was due to texting? I could be wrong, and I know it's a slow train but it concerns me? I don't think it should be charged for.
The soft play was boiling, it was a warm day and despite the soft play being empty, we boiled. I noticed the heaters hanging from the roof were on fully and this caused one of the children there to get overheated, cough and then vomit. The soft play is well laid out for parents to sit on sofas and let the children enjoy. If you do intend to follow your child through, Be aware you need to move like a hamster... very small gaps.
I would 100% return, avoiding the soft play, lots of outdoor play areas to explore. I might chance a picnic next time in one of the many areas provided for picnics, but if you fancy a treat, the food outlets have lots of choices!
