So its off season, bit damp and my son wants to see some wolves!!!!

He loves a challenge..... Paradise wildlife met the challenge and some. Amazing animals, easy access, clean and well organised.

The staff are engaging and very very polite. You accept that some of the food stalls and activities may be closed goven the time of the year, but to be honest not enough to disappoint.

Still a great collection of "keeper events" and animal talks to keep you engaged and a real opportunity to get up close to some of the most amazing animals in the world.

Oh and the wolves, both in the woods and in the animal park were greeted with huge excitement.

If you have children with sensory or disabled needs this park have really thought this over in detail. They have specialised play park for wheel chair users as well as ramped areas to all viewing platforms.

A healthy mix of intense animal excitement and space for my son to chill and gather himself.

Thank you Paradise we will be back .... probably very soon knowing my son 😂😂😂😉.

Present for my mother to feed the penguins. She really enjoyed the experience, keeper good and informative. Shame cost of experience does not include entry for an additional person (other experiences elsewhere do).

Zoo much improved since my last visit and can see that they have plans for continual improvement. The animals appear well looked after and there is a good variety for a small zoo. (The white tiger is gorgeous.)

Great for kids as loads of things for them to do other than look at the animals!

Would suggest that tickets are obtained via experience day / activity sites (e.g. buy a gift) as they are often on offer and it works out much cheaper than paying on the day.

There is a mini bus service to and from the park and Broxbourne station for those who do not wish to drive.

For one ....The park is brilliant. The animals are superb. They look so well looked after and the staff are super friendly.... The only place I know that you can get up close experiences with the animals...

For two ... The kids have umpteen interactive play areas with innovative exciting items and lots of places to feed one's hunger.

And there's more.. If you are a Speedway fan there is a museum of Speedway paraphernalia and pictures and bikes belonging to stars of today and yesteryear.

I can't stop telling people to visit ........

I booked this for my partners birthday as we love animals! We certainly were not disappointed. Experience lasted about 40 minutes and was worth every penny. The member of staff that was with us for the duration of the experience was friendly and so informative, he answered all our questions and more. We fed the white lions by hand which for us is a once in a life time experience and something I'm definitely not going to forget! They are stunningly beautiful animals. The staff wrre all very friendly. The park itself is very clean and the variety of animals is great you can get so close to them and feed them also. It really was a great day out!

We went with our one year old this summer. We had also been the year before. It was a good price to pay, reasonable! The venue was quite easy to find, we went by car, parking was always available.
Most of the staff, were very helpful and cheery.
We were surprised to see how large the place was and the amount of animals Located there. The big cats were great and lively, in good sized enclosures, were not zoo people really, but pleased to see the amount of room for the animals to roam in.
Buy some veg and feed the farm animals, nice contact for kids and grown ups.
Main gripe is the food was ermmmmm not good, they need to improve this, until then bring your own picnic guys.
Some areas are old and run down but acceptable for most.
You must go see the meerkats, soon cute.

As well as an expansive zoo, there is a paddling 'lagoon' children will spend hours in (summer months), a large soft play, sand play, diggers and fire engines to climb on and sit in, mini 'cars' to drive, an adventure playground, a little ride on train, places to eat, and demonstrations, such as bird or snake handling. more than you could ever do in one day, we have been several times.

My grandchildren love this place as did my own when they were little. A little expensive but certainly a great day out. We always bring a picnic of our own as we find the cafe a little limited in choice. It has large car park with additional space across the road. Definitely worth a visit.

A great day out! Staff friendly and helpful, hot dogs were lovely!!
Nice to see the animals cared for so well and not distressed. One thing is the birds... Wish they could have a few extra foot each, there is a lot of spare room around the birds area that might be put to better use!!!

Thanks for a lovely day

Lots to do, playground/adventure areas, mini golf, old vehicles etc plus the wonderful animals - lemurs, white tiger , zebra etc, all part of a conservation project ... definitely not a zoo in the old fashioned sense.

We went a little while ago, the first time it was raining so we didn't go in. The second time it was not, our 6 year old who was a lot younger then loved it to pieces. He loved everything about the animals, the bouncy castle, the shows, the rides. We ended up spending the whole day there. Highly recommended.

This park offers you the chance to see and experience animals at close proximity. It is about 30 minutes drive from London and is easily reached. The staff are very nice and very helpful at all times. This place is very much geared towards children as they have themed rides and activities, and play areas. Good selection of eateries at reasonable price or bring your own food and have a picnic!

They have rare red pandas and white tigers, and the elusive snow leopard .... spectacular. A worthwhile trip!

Brilliant place to visit and see the animals, lots of conservation. The place is ideal for families with lots of children areas and places to play and eat. There are tigers, lions, monkeys, meerkats something for everyone.

I am often quite wary of any 'zoo' environment but I have mainly praise for this little gem!

I had booked the red panda feeding experience for my partner and I got his birthday (who would of thought a 34 year old man would be so excited just to see them, let alone feed them!)
We met keeper Tom before being led through and he was just fantastic. Full of information and answered all our questions easily. We both work in the veterinary profession and were impressed by his knowledge. We got to hand fed the older male Teajmann who was just adorable. The female Tilly was more interested in sleeping so we didn't get to feed her, we were disappointed at all, she is a wild animal after all!

All enclosures were large and open, each specifically built so the animals can hide from view if they choose to. The otters are adorable, the wolves beautiful, and the big cats breathtaking. It's a small park but it's easy to spend a whole day as there are talks and feeds at regular intervals. All keepers were brilliant, knowledgable and approachable. Even the guy cleaning out the bat enclosure came and had a chat with us!

My only negative comment would be that the snow leopard was pacing and looking stressed BUT there were signs everywhere stating she was a new addition. And if a group of schoolchildren were screaming at you I'm sure you would find it difficult to relax!

Overall thrilled that I visited and made a contribution to their fantastic conservation efforts. Some argue that these tourist attractions are cruel but they are well researched and necessary to prevent the extinction of some of the most beautiful animals in the world.

I've been a couple of times in the last 5 months, and both times had a wonderful time, despite the weather on the last occasion. PWP is one of my favourite wildlife parks to visit. It's fairly compact, so I don't have to walk miles and miles, yet it has a really good variety of animals, and despite what a few people have said, I think their enclosures are mostly of a very good size, especially the big cat enclosures. As a lover of big cats, this is one of the best places to see a really big variety of them, especially due to their ties with the World Heritage Foundation. On my last visit, I particularly enjoyed seeing the pair of Jaguars together on the same platform. I felt really privileged to watch them grooming each other and being affectionate - a good sign for the future when they are old enough to breed, I hope.

As always the Red Pandas are a delight. When I visited a few months ago, the cubs were absolutely gorgeous. They have now moved on to new homes, but Tilly (the mum) was enjoying being fed this time. I also found the Meerkat heating itself up under a heat lamp very amusing - and how thoughtful of the Park to provide this facility. I also enjoyed seeing a pair of wolves sharing a platform, looking very alert and perfectly happy.

It was also very interesting watching Tahnee the Cheetah undergoing training from the keepers. This is not to provide amusement, but has a very serious purpose. It allows the keepers to perform medical checks etc on the animals without having to sedate them or cause them any kind of stress - how great is that!? Again, I felt very privileged to see this.

Despite it being autumn, the Park was very clean and tidy. As always, the keepers are very friendly and informative and I always feel that I've learnt something new every time I come here. I see from the website that there are some animals that I haven't seen yet, but would like to. Oh dear, what a shame - I will just have to visit again ;))). I can't wait!

Really enjoyed it here. Lots to do and see. The wild cats were amazing! The only negative is that buying food and drinks at the park are overly priced.

Took my friend on the Feed the Red Panda experience, had a brilliant time friendly knowledgeable staff, even taking photographs whilst we were feeding the pandas. Although it was a 220 mile round trip we both felt it was worth it.

Just returned from a wonderful trip to the zoo. This was our first trip and we had a fantastic time. The park is set out very clearly and the animals are easy to find and its surprising how close you can get to them. Although it was a bit chilly all the animals came out to say hi. I've been to more famous zoos and I must say this was one of my favourites because of its intimate nature. We will be returning again and would recommend it to all our friends and family.

I had a fantastic time at Paradise Wildlife Park yesterday as part of a Red Letter Day experience, Our choice was having brunch with the tigers. The keeper who guided us around the park was so informative and answered all our questions and we came away having fun and learning something new. I thoroughly recommend this as a place to visit and spend your day. If you are stuck for a gift to get that special someone, how about a Red Letter Day experience at this park, you'll be glad you did especially if they love animals

My family and I (Wife and Kids aged 6 and 3) had a great day out at the park on a cold Sunday in November.

The trip was discounted via 2 for 1 tickets from the local newspaper and Tesco clubcard vouchers (Wife and I paid individually for max discount).

The park is laid out well with decent size enclosures but with a feel that you have not been walking for miles and miles. The viewing points for seeing the animals are good and some are elevated so that you can look down on them too which is great. The talks by the keepers are great and informative. The is also and indoor softplay onsite which is also good to give the kids a break from the cold weather. Car park has plenty of space too.

A great dayout and the kids loved it which is all that counts.

(ADOPT! ADOPT! ADOPT!) We could not ask for a better day. Even the small patches of drizzle and cooler weather could not dampen the fun we had yesterday at the park. The animals were out and visible for all to see and clearly look well tended to. The staff were excellent as always. Katy Longley at Kiosk 5 was exceptional as before and really looked after us. I was beginning to think that she had mistaken us for celebrities. As my son is an adoptive sloth parent, Katy had organised the day for us to make the most of it. Glen the Sloth guardian looked out for us and allowed us the opportunity of meeting the sloth pair in their cages. I can’t convey well enough how much fun that was. To actually get up close enough to stroke one is amazing. Glen let us have a long visit with them and take many pictures and video. But the surprise guest was the lovely Dr Mambo the Armadillo. What a fun and playful character! He even wanted us to hold him. A truly amazing day. Sandra Gilbert of the Gift Shop was once again lovely (and is a Fire Marshall since 2013!). What a welcoming and friendly crew to an excellent venue. If you have not been yet, make sure you do! Even if the weather is colder than you like, make sure you go and let your children have some fun. You won’t regret it! (A fun part of the day was talking at cross-purposes with the man that was manning the fostering and adoption stand. I told him that we already had adopted a sloth and this really confused him as he was talking about adopting children. He seemed to think that we had adopted a child called “Dame Thyra”. Might want to put him in another location?)

We visited on Friday 13th November (our 40th wedding anniversary) the weather had just turned very cold so the park wasn't very busy which was great for us as we wanted to take pictures of the animals. All the animals were clean and well looked after. Their cages and enclosures were spotless. The staff and keepers were all so helpful and welcoming and all seemed to be having such a good time. I cannot wait to go back. Now I have ready more about the park on the website I am most impressed at what they have achieved.
