This attraction is geared especially for families and sub-teenage children, The number and variety of animals are small, with the monkeys and lemurs in rather small cages, a few camels, and Meercats in little colonies, but the emphasis is on big cats. The four white Lions are magnificent, and so too the Tigers. Compared with Regent's Park or Whipsnade, this zoo is tiny. There are no Elephants or Giraffes or Rhinos or Hippos or herds of Wildebeest, but there ARE slides and toy excavators and suchlike which delight the children.
Best of all, however, is the half of the area devoted to a Dinosaur Park. This wooded area has a winding path (or a little train) taking you past magnificent lifelike and life-sized, realistic models of a score of dinosaurs which grab, sway, wave, chomp. blink and roar realistically as you pass by. My comanion and I agreed that Paradise Park is worth visiting for this alone, the rest being a nice bonus.
The restaurant food was basic, and probably geared more to the kids than any discerning adults. It had a long queue, even at 11.50. The little tearoom overlooking the Tiger enclosure, however, served excellent sandwiches and cakes, and we had a lovely afternoon tea.

Lovely for a family day out, wheelchair accessible, kids loved it, adults had a great time too. Wildlife very visible and seemed happy. Bird show was very interesting. Dinosaur section was entertaining, movements were very realistic. Also included a nice place to eat, and the toilets were clean. This place has a car park and is accessible, although sometimes the paths are a little bumpy.

Basically this is a 4 for the zoo and the dinosaur. Both are great but the rest of the place needs updating.

The price seems a little steep, but having done the rounds of many attractions in the UK. I would say it's generally to be expected these day. We booked online and saved a little bit of money - every little helps.
The dinosaur trail was a big hit and everyone was blown away by the animatronics. great stuff.
the staff that we interacted with were all very pleasant and helpful.
Generally it was a great day out and kept the grandkids (4 and 12) entertained every minute we were there (about 6 hours)

A fabulous small zoological Park, never really had a bad visit, only if it rains, as members we go at least 4 times a year, friendly chatty staff, lovely animals

My son and I both enjoyed the animals and the dinosaur park. The crazy golf was also a big hit. On the whole a good day out with some minor disappointments.
1. No white tiger due to " maintenance" or some such. My son and I were both looking forward to seeing it.
2. The snow leopard which we were also looking forward to seeing was complete hidden away. I appreciate the animals need a natural habitat but this does need to be balanced with the fact that people come to zoos to see them.
3. Same situation for the ocelot. My son is a big cat fanatic so to have 3 unusual and interesting ones either not there or hidden away was a disappointment. We returned to the enclosure twice to look for the snow leopard but no dice.
4 The cafe was expensive and the queue for the tills pretty long.

The attraction itself is good though but they do need to look at a few things.

Animals were great and lots of play equipment for young children. But i thought it was expensive, lots of things were closed and park seems a little run down. But staff were very nice. The small train is a rip off though.
