We visited this park for the first time recently!! It is brilliant!! Cheaper than most places! If you book online before going its a lot cheaper! The staff are all very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable!! There is loads to.see and do! For grown ups and especially children! There is The most awesome Dinosaur park!! With big moving dinosaurs and there noises! A little train costs(£2) goes through the dinosaur bit! With a briliant sand pit at the end where they have put dinosaur bones and the kids get to uncover it with paintbrushes!! Its awesome!! Also The animals all look very happy and have nice enclosures!! Quite close too! With good vantage points for smaller children to see!!There are overhead walkways to look down on the animals, all accessable for the disabled and those with pushchairs! Which is a brilliant idea!! There are lots and lots of different types of play areas around the park for children! With a large playpark at the end!! Its Clean, tidy and well maintained!! The food i dont know about, we took a picnic! But Its probably very good like the rest of the park!! I will Definitely be going back for another visit with the rest of my family!! Its one of THE best and nicest ones ive been too!!!

More aimed at younger children. Still my 12 year old enjoyed the day there. Only one eatery open and had to queue for over 30 minutes for lunch. The food was very nice and not overly expensive. Free pumpkin 🎃 carvings, which the children loved doing. Fabulous dinosaur walk with sound effects.
Friendly staff. Plenty of parking over the road. Definitely worth a trip

We visited on a sunday and early morning if was quiet so we got to go round all the enclosures steadily. Their is alot for kids to do and some really cool slides and play areas. It is a fun filled day out for the family,
Only issue is a little pricey and have to pay for most activities

Good view of animals and variety. Although parts of park could do with being fixed up. From 4inch nails laying loose or hanging out of play park structures, to wooden steps missing grip tape and being very slippery. But it does make a nice day out (if your watchful of young children) and visiting midweek is better than weekends due to less crowds.

Very pleased with day and activities until I came home and realised the lady at animal feed counter where we buy bags of feeds gave me 2x 1euro coins instead of pound sterling. Not happy and should not happen in such a place. Was paying attention to my child and did not think could be given euros at change. Really stupid and annoying. Pity because had a great day otherwise but this dampened the experienced.

This was the the time we had visited, and we loved it!! We booked on line and got an extra 10% discount!! Excellent!! Its a lovely place, cheaper than lots of other places, excellent value!! Great and varied collection of animals! The enclosures for the animals were very good, all looked happy and content!! Great viewing platforms to see the animals!! Can take pushcairs or wheelchairs up on them too!! Fences have gaps for children to see the animals!! So no lifting them up to See! Windows for them as well!! Very informative talks!! Theres a little train in the Dinosaur land! Great display of moving dinosaurs with sounds!! Lots of activities for children in areas around the park, very very well thought out!! A big play area at the end!! We took a picnic so i cant say what the food is like, but i bet its good like the rest of the park! Clean, very well maintained, some work was being done for a new enclosure for the White Lions! ( i asked)We had a lovely day!! We will most certainly go back!!!!!

Great day out with the grandkids. The dinosaur walk was extremely good and everyone loved it. Felt that was better really than the animals as a lot of the areas were shut off and obviously run down. Lots of small exhibits which were ok. Have been before and felt it was better then. Still worth a visit and hopefully it will be better next year.

As a family, we decide to take our 18 month old a zoo for the first time.
Very easy to find and plenty of parking.

The park in itself was lovely. Split into two, keeping the animal bit separate from dinosaur bit
Plenty of things to do to keep the kids entertained (I personally loved feeding the pigs and sheep, but I'm a big kid myself)
The animals were really close to you and not a huge distance away from you and very easy to spot

Yes there were a few animals that weren't there or didn't show themselves but what people need to remember is that maintenance needs to happen to improve their habitat to make it more comfortable for them but also as the sign said "vetenary care" to obviously help with their health
Yes it is disappointing you can't see some of these amazing creatures but that's a zoo for you
The dinosaur trail was really cool, was really good to walk around and even learn a bit about them

The downside to the park was that there wasn't many baby changing facilities around or anywhere where you could heat up a bottle so I would advise to take a hot water flask and something to heat it up in (however there was someone really kind that showed us to a helpdesk and they allowed us to use their facilities which was very much appreciated)

The major downside to the park was the food.
Do not eat the food at Safari Sam's Diner.
Not only do you queue for about half an hour but the price for a meal is extortionate
£7 for a burger (which was undercooked and cold in the middle and disgusting. Not even I would eat it and I eat anything), chips (which were really bland) and drink, which to be fair was a decent cuppa
£1.20 for a slice of cheese is an utter con
The kids menu choice was really good (My daughter loves Turkey dinosaurs which was a menu choice) however you can only get juice as a drink rather than having a choice from the menu (even though my wife had a kids meal, it was a limited choice for a drink) and they also forgot the cheese in the burger she ordered.

The girl who served us forgot 3 things which we had to remind her about or more than one occasion

The staff in the diner were completely unhelpful apart from one who offered to help us carry some stuff over for us.

I would recommend taking a picnic however, you're not allowed to eat them in the cafe or diner, so if it's raining, you're a bit screwed.
The feed for the animals looked a lot more appetizing than the food was

Great day out but take your own food, it's not worth it
Would 100% return to the park but 110% avoiding the food
