Took our 5 year old Grandson over the Christmas break and he loved the dinosaurs (as did I) and all the animals in the Park which is generally well laid out and clean. Animals looked in good condition too and the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Apart from all the rides, playgrounds etc which hardly seem necessary, what lets it down are the catering outlets.

Since it was cold, we didnt fancy a picnic outside so opted for Safari Sams Diner. This Lowest Common Denominator food. Almost all with fries, overpriced and served on paper plates with plastic cutlery. Our bowl of soup was tasty but small and the accompanying bread a warmed up soft 'baguette'; all for £4.50. Very few healthy options and expensive. Avoid if you can.

Felt very small for the size of the animals. The enclosures appeared very small.

Such a fun day out! We went on new year's day, out was pretty quiet but still lots going on. The animals seem very happy and well looked after. Defintely worth making sure you see the otters get their lunch! The dinosaurs are incredible, my little one was fascinated by them. Really looking forward to going throughout the year as we have an annual pass, there's so much to do! Would highly recommend. Great outdoor play area as well, and very reasonable prices to get in.

A wildlife park which includes a soft play area for younger ones. Adventure play area. Lots of eating places plus picnic sites if you bring your own. In a lovely wooded setting with plenty of free car parking on site. Disabled facilities, baby changing facilities and lovely helpful knowledgeable staff. Recently opened dinosaur exhibit to walk round or go on the Rex Express mini railway. Many different animals in natural settings, watch them being fed or invest in an animal experience. Open every day of the year except Christmas Day and mini bus pick up and return from from Broxbourne rail station. Highly recommend a day out there.

Great place to visit. New updated dinosaur walk for the youngsters. Only downside was the on going construction of a new enclosure.

Stumped for a birthday present for my wife I arranged for her to hand feed a big cat. The keeper was very friendly and showed us around the areas where the public do not normally see, such as the animal food preparation areas. She chose a white lion and he was magnificent, the feeding took around ten minutes and almost a month later.she has still not stopped smiling.
The park is divided into two areas, one a small animal park with a lot of building going on, and around a third of the area fenced off. There is a fairly large collection of animals in what look like quite small enclosures with a couple of cases "circling" which gives the impression of a bored animal.
The other side is a "Blackpoolish" amusement park with a dinosaur attraction. I think if I had taken my grandson we would have both been dissapointed with this area. There are lots of coin in the slot items which could make an expensive visit. There are some large exhibits such as a steam train and fire engine which are beyond their best and fenced off. This would have crushed my four year old grandson who would have been desperate to get on them, they need to be repaired, covered up or removed. The dinosour attraction looks very new and the moving exhibits are very good. The building works and diversions made it difficult to follow the map but hopefully that will change when the works are completed.
This is only my opinion and I don't have to balance the books, but I think I would prefer it if the animals were given bigger enclosures at the expense of the amusement park.
