Outstanding visit. Very helpful staff and great range of attractions and food for our party of 5, age range 74 to 16. Easy walk for all including 4 replaced hips. We would highly recommend it to everyone.

Great family day out, there are cafes/ stands and restaurants throughout the zoo with plenty of seating and benches across the zoo. In terms of their facilities, can't really complain.

The animals though, (maybe we just happened to go on one of those days) but it was rather disappointing. Some of the enclosures were empty and the ones that did have animals in them weren't really interested in doing anything. (Can't blame the animals, they're just being them) But you'd expect a lot of different species of animals there but there just wasn't a lot. compared to other zoos I've been to this just wasn't it.

All in all if you're looking for a day out, it's a decent place to go. If you're looking to see all types of animals then maybe look at other places.

Great family day out. We booked in advance and saved a few £s per ticket which was good (still cost us £100 for a family of 4).

Parking was free and plenty of spaces (although crossing the road is an accident waiting to happen).

Lots of refreshments throughout the park (fairly reasonably priced).

The dinosaur park is excellent, great animatronics and great for the kids, with lots of decent photo opportunities. The dinosaur train is an extra £2 per person, ok for younger kids perhaps but personally I’d give it a miss next time.

We stopped at the restaurant near the start for lunch and actually was pleasantly surprised, food was decent (except the chicken pasta salad, definitely avoid that), quickly prepared and relatively reasonable (£30 for 4 of us).

Then we entered the zoo, nice and easy to navigate around, pretty sure we didn’t miss any enclosures either. The animals all looked well cared for, but the enclosures in my opinion were far too small (reason for the 4 stars). The sun bears were just continuously pacing and didn’t look particularly happy. The lion enclosure was the size of my garden, and just didn’t seem large enough for these beautiful animals.

Overall, a great day out, would definitely return and recommend it 😊.

Haven't been here in 14 years so was a shock to see how much its grown but honestly looks great. So much to do n see. Place was clean n the animals look well cared for. Plenty of places to eat and easy access to all areas for a pram which was a relief. We have an annual pass, given to us as a gift, n will definitely b making the most of it.

It has the potential to be even more adventurous for youngsters and children. Incorporating more jungle-themed adventures, like interactive rope bridges, could make the experience more thrilling. Consider adding features such as:Treehouse Trails: Elevated pathways with observation decks that allow children to feel like they’re exploring the treetops of a rainforest.Hidden Tunnels: Underground or covered pathways that simulate the experience of moving through a dense jungle.Treasure Hunting Adventures: A fun, themed treasure hunt where children can search for hidden clues and artifacts throughout the zoo, leading them to different animal exhibits and teaching them about the species along the way.Animal Spotting Challenges: A guided scavenger hunt or trail where children can spot camouflaged animals or unique species in a jungle setting.Additionally, the zoo could benefit from introducing more species from different parts of the world. This would not only increase its biodiversity but also educate visitors about the wide variety of wildlife globally. Expanding the range of species would make the zoo a more enriching and global experience for all visitors.

Excellent Zoo for kids. A variety of animals to see and an explanation of all the animals, history behind the animals as well. Also it is impossible to get lost as well as that the staff at this Zoo are very knowledgeable and have a genuine passion on what they do. There is also a lot of open spaces as well to down at tables and eat your food

We came here whilst on holiday as our son watches ‘one zoo three’ on bbc iplayer And wanted to see the animals which Cam Aaron and Tyler talk about on the show!

We paid £47.20 for two adults , two 1 year olds and one 6 year old (our 6 year old has a blue Peter card which means he gets in the zoo for free !!)

Fantastic zoo. We spent all day here.

There’s the world of dinosaurs before you enter the zoo which was great. Full of animatronic dinosaurs. A dino train (£2 per person over the age of 2) dino shows , lots of play parks and some places to eat.

The zoo is great! A Selection of different animals , walkways and play parks .

We have a twin buggy which was difficult to navigate in the rainforest part and we also didn’t fit into the temple of Angkor with it as it was too busy. Other than that the terrain for a twin pushchair was great.

We took a picnic with us and there were plenty of places to sit and eat. We bought 6 doughnuts from the shack in the Dino section. They were nice.

The Animal enclosures were a lot bigger than I have seen in other zoos which was great and all the animals were active and looked happy.

Gift shop was nicely laid out. Somethings were quite expensive comparative to the gift shop at the zoo that I work at.

There was an area with water play , small slide and water sprayers , changing rooms and toilet , deck chairs etc was a cold day so it was empty but looks nice for a warm day. Our son did go in for a bit and enjoyed it!

Every where was clean and tidy!

We will definitely go back again one day!

Wonderful day out with the kids.
Very friendly and helpful staff all around.
Easy to navigate through the parks.
Everything is clearly labelled.

Food is reasonably priced and there is good selection that caters for vegan diets too.

I particularly loved the fact that they have a cute little multi-faith room where I could go and pray.
It is kept locked and you have to ask someone to open it for you. They are very helpful and quick to help. They even have prayer mats in there for you to use if u need .

A truly magical zoo that has changed dramatically over the years that it has been open. The new bear and jaguar exhibit is amazing and should definitely be visited as well as the gibbon and tiger enclosure. You can listen to some of the brilliant talks and watch the animals fed as well.

This is a great park that offers two experiences in the same place. The zoo part is great and larger than I expected with a wide range of animals to see.

Can spend whole day here with lots of variety in what you want to do. Bring your own food and drink, picnicking tables everywhere, spoilt for choice. Bring kids bathing suite, change of clothes and towel as outdoor splash pool onsite. Buy tickets online for a slight saving. People under 2 yo go free.

We've had a fantastic visit with children aged 2 to 14. The zoo is informative, inclusive and beautifully decorated. We ate in Bamboo Kitchen and were served by Luca who was doing a fantastic job! Food and drinks were excellent and well priced. Luca's customer service was outstanding.

Nice place, however some of the staff were rude and disrespectful, condescending in a way. And some animals that we went to see did not really show up.
