Having booked through a travel agent we didn't quite know what to expect when we arrived at the hotel. We were not to be disappointed!
A nice room with a good view over the tennis courts. Housekeeping staff are absolute stars - very thorough and constantly kept the room clean and fresh.
Breakfast was also a very positive experience. The staff were again very attentive and quality of food very good indeed.
The swimming pool is great although limited access for children. Our daughter takes swimming very seriously and likes to swim lengths, unfortunately she can only swim during the allocated children's time and it's not easy to swim lengths when the pool is full of young children playing so a re-think for serious child swimmers might be a good idea.
If we ever return to Guernsey this would be my first choice for accommodation.
A huge thank you to all who helped make our 10 day stay so memorable.

We had an amazing 5 night stay here. The facilities (spa, pool, gym etc) are very nice and don't get too busy. The breakfast was great too with so much choice that you could eat a different breakfast everyday. The staff are very friendly too and couldn't do enough for us. One waitress, I believe her name is Anna, at breakfast was especially friendly and always wished us a good morning. Right next to a supermarket and a bus stop, so it's very convenient. We'll definitely be staying again.

4 of us went on Sunday for afternoon tea, the setting was beautiful, staff attentive but not overpowering, lovely sandwiches, scones, and we had a lovely variety of little hand made cakes which were lovely, and good coffee!

St Pierre Park Hotel & Spa is situated just outside St Peter Port (a 40 minute walk or £1 bus ride). It offers First Class accommodation, dining, and Spa facilities. Rooms are maintained to a high standard; the staff are all very helpful and friendly. Very high quality food from the restaurants (there are 2 restaurants to choose from), and a good choice or options for breakfast. Only one issue - on our last day the restaurant menus were changed, and this appeared to lead to a little confusion in the kitchen and with the waiting staff. The indoor pool, Steam Room and outdoor Hot Tub are all kept spotlessly clean. We didn't use the Spa or golf facilities. A 15 minute taxi ride from the Airport, and within easy reach of the whole island. A lovely relaxing holiday was had by 2 very busy people. Thanks to everyone at the Hotel, we will visit again definitely.

I stayed here twice on my business visit to Guernsey. The hotel is large and modern and my room was beautiful. A huge bed, comfortable pillows, great room service and ducks to say hello in the morning. I didn't use the pool or spa, but they looked wonderful. Service fantastic and breakfast a real treat. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Great hotel and relaxing. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are amazing and staff are great and helpful. I would recommend this hotel. It is located in a good location with many facilities. Including swimmimg and spa. State of the art gum.

Pleasant welcome, attentive staff in all areas of the hotel. Great amenities and lovely spa area. Beautiful grounds for walking in. Quiet and newly refurbished rooms. Excellent breakfast with lots of choices. Good location for visiting all the island in a quiet area. Waitrose two mins away if required. Will definitely be returning to the island and to this hotel.

Nice position on the outskirts of St Peters Port and helpful staff but tired rooms with no air conditioning or even extractor fans in bathroom. Food was good and amenities such as tennis courts pool etc again very pleasant.

My wife and myself are nearing the end of a 4 night visit at the St Pierre Park Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort (part of the Hand Picked Hotels Group which now has 20 properties - including 3 Channel Island one’s) which is a 30 minute walk from St David Port or one can take the 41 or 42 Bus which stops outside the Hotel (all fares are £1).

The property was opened in May 1983 and - as I learnt from a lovely Remembrance Bench on the Island in the pond behind the Hotel - had the same GM (Dina Le Lacheur from 1985-2017). It is set in lovely and extensive grounds with a large Children’s Play Area, 3 Tennis Courts and a 9 Hole Par 3 Golf Course which my wife and myself played twice as part of our promotional Hotel package - something I would encourage others to consider. Although we didn’t make use of either the Gym or Spa, the latter was often fully booked.

All the staff are most pleasant and well turned out but none more so than Ioanna on the Front Desk who was particularly helpful throughout our stay. The Management also kindly arranged a late change of dates for our stay and - as it turned out - we were very happy with our room (#438 The Jersey Suite) which was comfortable, spacious and had sunshine streaming in for most of the day. It also overlooked the pond - my only recommendation would be the provision of larger wall TV as well as wider selection of TV Channels (including Sky).

Our stay was on a half-board basis with Breakfast served from 0730 hours (0800 hours at weekends) in La Fontaine Restaurant. It is buffet style with a number of supplementary dishes available on order. Dinner is served in The Pavillion with a good 3 course menu but one which is set on a seasonal basis (even so, some dishes were permanently unavailable throughout our stay) and this can prove challenging to guests staying longer than a few day!

We also had lunch on one occasion in Terrace Bar Cafe (which has an extensive menu) and found both the Soup of the Day (Ministrone) and the Cobb Salad most enjoyable. In addition, the service at all 3 F & B outlets was very good reflecting the general high standard of staff throughout the Hotel.

It should, therefore, come as no surprise that the property was operating at near full capacity throughout our stay. That said, it is now nearly 35 years old and, hopefully, an extensive refurbishment Programme will get underway in the not too distant future as on close examination the property is beginning to show its age and this will only become an increasing problem over time.

My wife and I have just returned from a week's stay here. Overall we found all hotel staff friendly and helpful. Our room was a decent size with a handy fridge available and a free to use safe. Bus stop outside was handy for travelling around the island. Only downsides were the lack of air conditioning in room and patio sliding door to balcony which we couldn't open at night as the balconies were not private and overlooked. Food prices were quite expensive and we were charged £3.80 for a pint of soda and lime.

A wonderful clean and friendly hotel on an island with beaches and views to rival anywhere in the world. Although the bus services was said to be one way of getting around the island we decided to hire a small car to enable us to visit all parts of this beautiful island. With a speed limit of 35mph, very narrow roads, few road signs and an unusual filter system at junctions and roundabout, driving was certainly a stressing option.

A good quality Hotel good size room clean and comfortable.
Breakfast with a good choice laid out in a buffet style.
My only criticism is with the evening although delicious and well presented was mean on portion size and the menu did not have a great choice, it would have helped if it was changed daily.

Wonderful few days at this hotel. Beautiful surroundings friendly staff and magnificent spa facilities. Highlights pool, well equipped room with mini fridge. Waitrose across the road. Would stay again.
Only issue wifi not great in peripheral areas of the hotel.

Some friends and I recently stayed at the St Pierre Park Hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming.
The room was comfortable, The position of the hotel gives you the opportunity to reach all of the Island. If want to rest there is plenty to keep you busy.
Some of the bar staff had only just started and would benefit from a little more bar training but were friendly. The bar food was limited in choice but good quality. The acception was the 19th Hole restraunt where we did experience a very disappointed fish and chips.
Overall the stay was very good. I would have written more but could not access Write a bit more

Had a lovely 5 night stay here, our junior suite was spacious and comfortable with the benefit of a great hot tub. The main restaurant was a bit disappointing felt a bit like a café and the menu not very interesting, we ate the rest of the time in the lounge area where food was very nice with decent sizes portions. the staff in all areas were very friendly although seemed rushed off their feet at times. the grounds are so peaceful and relaxing. The pool and sauna were brilliant. Travelling around the island by bus was so easy as bus stops are just outside and very regular service. Also the hotel benefits from a good waitrose opposite if you need snacks for days out. Would definitely recommend this hotel if your looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday.

Stayed here overnight as playing in a golf day. Reception was very helpful as needed an early check in. The room was quite spacious and the bed comfortable. Played golf on the par 9 hole course with 2 tee starts. Very tricky but a lovely setting and a pleasure to play, albeit quite steep hills in parts. At the Nineteen bar decent food and a very good practice Bay Area where you can watch yourself on video! The dinner served for over 100 people was very good. Lovely areas to walk and beautiful lake outside with seating overlooking it.Only downside was breakfast not available on weekends until 8am which if you have an early start or plane to catch means either missing out or a rush. Staff seemed all ready way before so didn't understand why 8am.

We stayed here as part of a large group for the late May bank holiday weekend. Very pleasant stay, the room was high up facing the car park, the only noise came from the large prom party taking part in the large function room on the first night. Lots of very drunk youngsters having a good time. Our double bed was large and very comfortable, the room clean and we used the kettle to make tea and coffee. There’s a Waitrose just over the road from the entrance and the bus stop into town right there too. Great place to stay. The food was good (we had organised meals in the evening) and the quality was excellent. Sitting in the bar the food there looked very popular, the pizza seemed the most popular choice. Full English breakfast each morning was plentiful very good selection of fruit, hot foods. My only issue was probably not enough waiting staff, getting extra coffee or butter at breakfast was never easy and always a wait. Would I stay here again. Yep we’ll be back

Have recently returned from a 5 night stay here with hubby and 2 teenagers and everyone had a lovely, relaxing holiday. The 2 rooms we had were great, clean, comfortable and well equipped, 1 room had a coffee machine and large balcony which was really nice. The housekeeping service was excellent with a daily clean, restock and turn down service, with friendly housekeeping staff, especially the lovely lady that looked after us so well all week. The breakfast was very good, with a very good variety and selection of: juices, smoothies, fresh fruit, continental breakfast and cooked breakfast from the buffet. You can order from the menu too, which included pancakes which the kids enjoyed. Breakfast service was good and tables well set out. The kids loved using the pool, the only downside being that my 15 year old could only use it in restricted hours in the morning and evening, which was really frustrating for him, his 17 year old brother wasn't allowed to supervise him either which was a bit annoying as they are good swimmers and I was happy to manage the risk of no life guard supervision myself, so these strict rules are something to be aware of if visiting with children. They were also strict about no under 16s in the hot tub even though I was supervising. We had lovely views and balconies over the garden but were near the road which does get noisy with traffic from 6.30, but that can't be helped and shutting the patio door at dawn and earplugs helped! Overall had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend.

Booked online and arriving off the Condor ferry we had the pleasure of meeting Joanna at the front desk. Professional, informative and caring she made check in easy. Throughout our 4 night stay she continued to make our stay pleasant, a great advocate for the hotel. I have stayed in many hotels but what we found surprising was the consistent quality throughout and that includes, maintenance, cleanliness and food along with a well motivated staff, including Sandra and Ana in the Terrace bar. The pool and spa are excellent and of course the landscaping is superb, def return !!

We stayed on a half board basis for seven nights and cannot fault the housekeeping, bed comfortable and the sleep quality was very good. As we stayed for several days we did appreciate a garden view - lovely grounds.
Breakfast was more than adequate, very good selection and extras like kippers and haddock were prepared to order (quite quickly) and at no extra charge.
To begin with we ate in the main restaurant, but became bored with the same menu each night - and -not every item was to our liking, the seafood offerings for example.
For a change we went to the bar and found more variety, but the service was a bit erratic. we did complain on Sunday night at the service and an adjustment was made to our account. The matter of the "boring" menu was raised with a manager at the time and I gather some specials are now to added to the restaurant menu each night - it cannot be a challenge to the chef to do the same thing every night either.
Staff were always friendly and helpful ( a couple of transfers to the harbour were appreciated)- thanks also to Tom for his repartee- and yes, we would return

Recently stayed for 2 nights as part of a friends wedding party.
The room we stayed in was very comfortable had everything required for our stay.
The service during the wedding reception could have done with some work, no water was provided and at one point there was not one server to provide drinks, many people sat with empty glasses the bar was closed as well this was a little frustrating.
Having had to communicate several times with events staff and hotel reception about things that needed amending the night before and the morning of the wedding I would have to say I wouldn't recommend friends or family to use it as a venue for future events.

Just back from a 4 night stay. Had Dinner every evening in the Restaurant and the food was amazing. We stayed in a Master suite with private garden and our own Hot tub.

The let down for this hotel was Housekeeping. Our Bathroom had not been cleaned from the previous residents. The bottles of Water were not re placed and the same with the Coffee/sugar etc. Every day things were missing and I had to chase them up.

Not really good enough and I know our room was not the only one. This is the only let down for a lovely Hotel.

This hotel sells itself very highly

If you visit make sure they have no functions on this is their main business
If a function is on you get relegated to a small bar down stairs
Also if you eat in the bar which we did twice, on the first time the food was sub standard but they didn’t charge because we hardly ate any of it
We decided to have an early dinner on our fifth night we had Fish and Chips which were on the menu asthick cuthand made chips - they were frozen chips !!!! We paid our hotel level bill and left at this point we gave up as a bad job
Room cleaners never did the same job twice, forget water or towels etc etc

Couldn’t recommend wouldn’t return

Have just returned from a 5 night visit.
Very prompt check in receptionist very helpful answering all our questions.
Room was perfectly adequate clean and all we needed. Overlooking the car park but no noise noticed.
Very good breakfast selection - buffet style but can order fresh items of separate menu. Plenty of tea and coffee.
Didn’t have any other food at hotel apart from the function we attended on Saturday night. This food was lovely apart from the panna cota which was more like custard.
Hotel very well placed to get local 41 or 42 bus into town each trip just £1.
Very good bus service and so helpful used it several times.
Spa and pool area lovely but disappointed as steam room not very hot.
Overall a very pleasant stay and would definitely return

First impressions were of a very nice looking 4 star hotel - then it went downhill from there. Firstly Reception was a zoo, then we did not get the room we booked online - an alternative of same price but different; Whilst the public areas are probably 4 star standard, the rooms are in need of refurbishment and only of 3 star standard at best. Our room, whilst prepared well upon entry, had clearly not been properly cleaned in a long time. Privacy was not brilliant - a walkway outside had lose slabs which were noisy every time someone walked by; Food was average at best - bar snack were the best option, breakfast display was not very appetising; staff were Ok - one or two were very good - especially the porter who looked after our luggage upon arrival, the rest needed a lot of training - even in the basic skills of being a waiter; priority seems to be given to group bookings rather than individual guests - we actually complained about that but without much success. sorry - we won't be going there again in a hurry.....
