You may have read my blog on 23rd February announcing Laura Wright as a special guest to Alfie Boe, the popular English tenor, at the Forestry Commission Live Music in Thetford Forest this summer.

Well, now performing as a solo singer, having sold more than one million albums, the former Framlingham College student has now premiered her new Commonwealth anthem in Westminster Abbey for the Queen and Royal family!

Accompanied by Reading Blue Coat School Choir she performed the new track Stronger As One in front of The Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh, the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall to commemorate Commonwealth Day.

Watch out for Laura Wright at Twickenham on Saturday as she will be singing ahead of the Six Nations match between England and Ireland.

Laura is also performing at one of the concerts for the Jubilee in Hyde Park in June.

If you would like to know more about Laura's former school, you can find out here about Framlingham College
