The location is great - just near the beach and some of the attractions. My twin-bed room was super small, nothing extra. No AC. The price was okey I guess for this room and 1-2 night stay.

Great location
Location was great. Right next to the pier but not noisy at all. The rooms were clean and spacious. Would return mainly for location and price.
The bunk bed was very squeaky. It made a noise with the slightest of movement. There was no parking or fridge to store cold drinks.

I was disappointed there was no working restaurant . It needs a deep clean
The beer ran out , the shower door wouldn’t close, there appeared to be only two men on duty. It was as if they were running the place down for closure

It's always a pleasure to stay at The Afton. Rooms are clean, staff are very courteous, and the geographical location is perfect for the town centre, the pier, and the pubs and restaurants.

A pleasant weekend
The location is excellent. I had a sea view. The room was large for a single and quite comfortable.
In certain respects the hotel is old-fashioned and could do with some modernisation. But no real complaints.
