Quite simply some of the freshest real fish and chips your going to find in Eastbourne. Super fresh fish, cooked to perfection. Large portions, fast service. Accommodating for larger groups or family gatherings. Very much recommended

Cod and chips fish was really good. Big, juicy, chunky cod. Chips aren't your average chips from a chippy, this were uniquely cooked. You can tell this is a proper family run restaurant with their own twist on things. Will definitely be visiting again soon. Service was very friendly. Would recommend eating in.

One of the best fish and chip shops in Eastbourne, if not the world. What a lovely plaice... their eggs can't be beaten... their sausages certainly aren't the wurst... and their pie is worth so much more than 3.14 too. Get your skates on and go!

I've been in here a few months and the food was lovely. However, this time it wasn't anywhere near as nice.<br>I ordered the large cod and chips and dad got cod and chips special, that included peas and a cup of tea and it was £3 cheaper than the large cod. So you would expect it to be smaller. But no, his fish and chips were larger than mine! Mine was very thin.<br>Also I don't think the fish I had was even cod. The flesh was very soft, not firm at all and it didn't have any taste to it.<br>My dad's fish seemed totally different to mine. I really hope it isn't going downhill as it was lovely last time I went in. But sadly this time it wasn't very nice.

Ordered a large cod and small chips as a takeaway for lunch, very helpful and friendly staff whilst ordering , drove 2 minutes away to the seafront to eat it.<br>Chips were delicious 😋.. fish was also tasty but very greasy as you can see in the picture… apologies for my half eaten meal pictures but I was hungry 🤩😆

Authentic type fish restaurant. I prefer my battered cod a bit darker and crispier and fish cooked a bit more, this was the opposite light batter and tender fish. I guess that's my preference. Mushy peas a bit runny and fizzy drink flat. Service attentive though restaurant was empty at the time.<br>2023: original review was couple of years ago. Batter seems a lot more crisper, nicely cooked and not very oily. Mushy peas tasty and thicker. Disappointing was draught beer; very flat. Would pay a little for quality tartar sauce than sachets. Handful more of chips needed.<br>2024 November review: fish a bit underdone.

The fish and chips from this restaurant is extremely good, absolutely delicious. The restaurant is clean and cosy and a nice place to visit. Would highly recommend!

Had a take away fish and chips before going to the Comgress theatre nearby. Very good, probably not the best in the world but certainly not the worst. Good sized portion of fish as well as chips. Not bad quality and good service. Would I go here again? Yes if I'm in the area. I would probably sit down next time as the restaurant side looked very good.

We love the old school booth style restaurant. It's like stepping back in time. Fish is good but chips soggy when we went a couple of days ago. Food seems to have declined the past few times we have gone and it can be difficult to park. Used to really enjoy going.. was a bit shocked at £50+ for 3 fish and chips and soft drinks since price rises.. We've decided we won't go again.
