This is something of a little treasure in eastbourne. Most chippys in eastbourne are terrible. This one is tucked out the way, always busy, the food is well cooked and well priced.<br>I'd advise slightly bigger chip portions in the meal deals to contend with other chippys, it can be a bit mean at times. And maybe get rid of the tatty looking and creepy chip man/sign out front as it drags down what could be a great place.

What a lucky find! We visited in the evening on the last day of Airborne, the four day airshow at Eastbourne. The fireworks on the last evening encourage everyone to stay after the flying stops at about 6 and find somewhere to eat before the display at 9.<br><br>The whole town was packed with people and to our amazement, Holiday Inn had a table that we could sit down at. The queue for takeaway was out of the door so I had to skip past it to find out but I'm glad I did.<br><br>I was met by Nathan, who has to be the hardest working youngster in the whole of Eastbourne - or at least he certainly was when we visited. He found us our table and very kindly helped me (or actually I helped him!) stow our pushchair out of the way which was really helpful.<br><br>Service was frenetic and it was clear that the many members of staff that were working that evening were rushed off their feet - not surprising on an Airborne evening. Nonetheless, the food was absolutely outstanding - fresh and really nicely made, and although the place was flat out, we received our meal in no time at all and we're really looked after. A big thumbs up also for stocking the lager from Longman Brewery, just down the road.<br><br>Top marks to all involved - and a big pat on the back to Nathan - this young man will go far in the world.<br><br>We look forward to returning for more fish and chips sometime soon.

Baaardzo dobra rybka! Kolejki co prawda duże, ale szybko idzie złożyć zamówienie i potem koło 15 min oczekiwania. Porcje ogromne, najadłem się do pełna, aż nie mogłem zmieścić wszystkiego! Ceny znośne, za duża rybę i frytki koło £11. Polecam, warto odwiedzić to miejsce

Fantastic find we were staying in the next road over and fancied fish and chips ,some other customers sat outside told us how great this place is so we went in and were not disappointed .In fact we returned every night of our 4 night stay ,the menu is great not all fish you can have steak ,liver ,omlette ,salad and lots more and all at very reasonable prices it was working out at £10 a head for fast service ,excellent portion sizes and lovely food .The fish portions were large in a light batter and the chips perfect real potatoes not the reconstituted ones you sometimes get ,we had grilled plaice one night and that was perfectly cooked too .Highly recommended if you find youself in Eastbourne, just one niggle the waitress serving us has absolutly no customer service skills she was abrupt to the point of rudness declaired she didnt like fish and was fed up with people telling her how wonderful the food was ,her attitude didnt change the whole four evenings we visited she was very efficient though and we found her attitude very amusing .

Stopped by here today for lunch. Lovely staff from the moment we stepped in the door. Best customer service by a mile! Food was delicious too, had cod and chips - plentiful and tasty.<br>Will definitely be returning here when we visit Eastbourne again

I went into this Fish shop the on Saturday with a friend and had Cod & Chips....the Fish was great and the batter perfect but the Chips are awful all hard pieces you cannot eat ..why don't they get some other chips...

What a fantastic place this is, wonderful service and some of the best Fish and Chips I have ever had. We had a small, medium and large Cod and Chips with 3 soft drinks and the bill came to £38 which in a popular tourist place like Eastbourne I think is fantastic value. If we are ever in this area again we will definitely revisit for our Fish and Chip fix. A full 5 stars from me ☺️
