Lovely friendly place and I really like the old fashioned decor - as someone else said it adds to the atmosphere. Great value and although I live here it makes me feel like I'm on holiday!

Of the promenade in a side street we came across holiday inn from the outside not welcoming inside totally different clean , spacious , nice lay out . Rarely have fish and chips but this was outstanding. The staff are great , pleasant ,and helpful , reasonably priced even opening door to leave with handshake nice touch will return well worth a visit. Larger establishments could learn from them.

Walked by this on a day in Eastbourne and thought we'd try it. Turned out great. Excellent fish and chips, just the right sized portions and reasonably priced. Service was great as well. What more could you ask for? The decor took me back a few years but only added to the ambience of the place. Would definitely go back on another trip to Eastbourne

This place is serves absolutely amazing fish & chips! My mother sister and I were staying at The Grand Hotel this weekend and we fancied a slap up Saturday night fish and chips feed. This came up on Google so we nipped round the corner and tried it, out expectations not being massively high. The chips and batter were friend to perfection, the mushy peas were amazing, even the side salad was crunchy and delicious. The house white (again low expectations) was amazingly good considering the price. We sat outside, which was gorgeous - felt like being abroad! And the staff were so lovely and very attentive. My only tiny tiny criticism was there was no lemon served with the fish, but hey! It was so tasty, who cares. Thank you!

I think that this fish restaurant is one of the best in Eastbourne. The staff ars very helpful, the fish menu is great,food excellent, you don't have to wait long for you meal and the portions are large.<br>One can reserve a your favorite table at the back if you want some quiet.<br>The only criticism is that the toilets are in the basement having to go down a steep flight of stairs.<br>Well done Holiday Inn Fish Restaurant.
