I don't understand how they did that. We arrived at 6.45 and they were extremely busy. At 5 past seven we had two medium cod and chips, a large haddock and chips and a spare plate (kids were sharing) in front of us. Also four big glasses of water. Both the cod and haddock were lovely and fresh and in crisp batter. The chips were lovely too and by twenty past seven there were four clean plates and a happy, well-fed family heading home to bed. Just perfect. Thank you!

Recommended this chippy by a local person. Didn't disapoint.The service was quick considering how busy it was in the resteraunt. Lovely big piece of fish and the chips were lovely too. Definitely go there again if in Eastbourne!Well done all of the staff.

Good choice of dishes. Eat in or takeaway. Food was fresh & well cooked. Good crispy batter. The chips were the best I’ve had from a chip shop in a long time and a good curry sauce!

Great place for fish and chips. We had the small cod and chips and for me, it was totally enough food. The chips were not oily and they could have been a bit more crispy. But overall, really good food.

Family of us and we all ordered the same cod and chips and no complaints from any of us. The fish was lovely and fresh and white and the chips were to die for the best! good size portions and good service highly recommended.

This is the only fish and chips restaurant that we visit when in Eastbourne. I have been coming here since I was very young and it has never faulted us.<br><br>The decor and cutlery might make it look dated but don't let it put you off. The fish, chips and mushy peas/sauces are amazing!

Tasty food served by friendly staff in a clean environment. However the lights in the 🚻 toilets seem to go off suddenly which could be awkward if someone is in the middle of an operation or movement!

Arrived in Eastbourne late and was graciously accommodated 15 minutes before closing! Fish was still cooked to order though and was simply perfect! Thick juicy flakes of fresh cod with a crisp batter, all by the sea - a great way to start a weekend away! Strongly recommended...
