Our stay was most enjoyable - we only had two observations: the first was that it was surprising that our room did not have air conditioning. The weather was very hot and we certainly needed it. The second was that it was odd to have to book an exact breakfast time. When on holiday it's nice not to set an alam and to get down to breakfast whenever ready!

We had a lovely stay and hope to return soon! Chris on the door was friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived, a very warm welcome. The reception team and all of the staff in the bar area and at breakfast time were attentive and personable. The hotel itself was beautiful and well kept; it was spotless too. There was plenty of choice with cocktails with knowledgeable staff. There was also a good selection for breakfast. We did take advantage of room service during our stay which was easy to order and arrived in good time. Thank you to everyone who made our stay so enjoyable.

Popped in for lunch at the Mirabelle All courses were delicious and well presented. The restaurant staff were great, attentive, knowledgeable, friendly without being intrusive. They were aware from my booking that I was gluten intolerant and it was nice not to have to remind them constantly like I have had to do in other places. Will definitely be back with others to enjoy

I gotta say Cole is a number one gentleman! Such a friendly and knowledgeable man. I really enjoyed my conversations with him in little breaks I got between MBC 2024 sessions. If I’m ever back in town I will surely stay at the Grand! Also if you feel thirsty go and grab an Old Fashioned from the bar! Absolute gold!

Everything was lovely except the fact that the internet was extremely slow in my room. I don't live in the UK, so not being able to contact my family was bad. +I found a dirty spoon in my room. Everything else was perfect. Thank you for the service.

when on a spa day with my with we did not say at hotel as it was cheaper around the corner we had a bit of problem with the tiles coming off but I did give us a 50% discount of the price due to the inconvenience of this happening

There were lots of spider webs on the outside of the windows as well as no air conditioning. The view is gorgeous. The staff were nice, but the food was just okay. The fire alarm had a false alarm while we were there at 1:30 am. That was not fun. We left early because we couldn't sleep after that.

My second time visiting The Grand, a lovely, pleasant homely and cosy stay. Friendly, polite and efficient hotel team. My room was very comfortable, love the pillows! The food was spot on as always and the pool facilities were wonderful to use. I will be coming back!

We had a lovely stay here.
Welcomed by friendly reception staff and concierge.
Room was very clean and had everything you could need.
Great variety of drinks and food. Breakfast was really good too.
Parking was easy for us with many spaces available.
A very nice hotel with friendly staff.
We will definitely stay here again.

It's a beautiful old building, but our room was certainly not a reflection of the price we paid, it was the same or even lower standard of an average priced hotel, we definitely feel we paid well over the top for our room. No on site parking unless you were prepared to pay £25 a day, we had a drink in the bar on the first evening and a cheese and pickle sandwich accompanied by a few crisps and a tiny cup of soup, the bread was dry and not very appetising but the bill was £49 needless to say we ate elsewhere on other evenings. On the plus side the breakfast was really nice, plenty of choice and the staff really helpful. Unfortunately we will not be staying again.

Had a lovely time and so did my partner.
Food was great, staff were great, and generous, they allowed us to make use of out of date vouchers, facilities were the best.
Very relaxing, I would definitely visit again.

Lovely birthday afternoon tea, delicious and flavoursome food. A variety of choice, gentle surroundings and a nice touch to celebrate a friends special day by an unexpected token cake and service, well done much enjoyed.

Old style luxury... rooms are very small.
Out of the main Eastbourne... but only 10 minutes walk back into the real town.
Staff are very helpful.
Seriously overpriced.
