Sovereign Harbour gives you the feeling you are on holiday, when the sun is shining you could be in the Med.. The lovely bars, restaurants and coffee shops. watch the boats pass by as you have a drink and relax. If you would like to go to the cinema or do some shopping just walk round the back and everything you need is on hand. I can recommend this marina for a lovely day out, if you visit Eastbourne then this is a must. We visit the Marina every time we visit Eastbourne.

Good value this place. Good variety of service providers but a corner shop with newspapers would be a welcome addition. Better marina than Brighton, Newhaven or Dover.

We got the 99 bus from Eastbourne pier and took the 10 minute journey to the Harbour , you get off the bus at Asda and walk 5 minutes through the shopping centre and end up in a lovely Harbour , if you keep going you are on the shingle beach with great views

Sit and relax or walk around the harbour, there are plenty of things to see and do. A good selection of restaurants and bars are right on the front of the harbour. On a nice day sit and people watch or take a nice boat trip around the harbour.

Looked forward to this visit but it was a bit underwhelming. Buildings to modern looking after the fabulous Victorian architecture in Eastbourne itself.

Eastbourne Marina is fairly modern although it's a nice place to go for a walk looking at the boats and exploring some of the more interesting modern architecture (Henley Park, North Harbour is worth a look for property voyeurs!)
You can also access the beach (pebbles) and take in the Sea Air.

A nice simple restaurant to eat at on a day out.
Simple food but good value for money. It has recently been closed for a complete refurbishment.

Love the Sovereign Harbour Marina at any time of the year but always spend Christmas here with the family

Even when nothing is open it's still a lovely place to walk and browse

Pity some dog owners don't clean up like a responsible person would but thankfully few are that inconsiderate

Great place for safe playing, lots to see and good selection of places to eat and drink. Even saw the resident seal in the harbour sun bathing at low tide!

The Marina is certainly worth visiting, there's plenty of room in the free car parks, or you could walk along the sea front all the way from Eastbourne town. The lock gates area provides a good place to watch the assorted vessels going out to sea and returning - fishing boats with their catches, and sailing boats with their crews putting away sails etc., ready for mooring up inside the marina.
There is a bar, a fish and chip shop, a cafe and assorted restaurants. The Harvester has just been "done up" and our party of eight had a well cooked meal served by an extremely efficient and friendly waitress. We were made very welcome and were not rushed. We now regularly visit Seasons, for lovely Lily coffee and pastries (try the pecan pie), fresh crab salads (pre order to avoid disappointment), and wonderful fresh calamari served with sweet potato chips (definitely the best in Eastbourne).
There's good walking round the inner harbours where you can see more boats and varied designs of houses and flats.
After all this you are just a few steps away from the cinema and a range of shops for some retail therapy.

A highly enjoyable afternoon. We stopped at Seasons restaurant for afternoon tea. We spent a leisurely afternoon chatting, eating and drinking, couldn't fault it, we will return! Comfortable sofas, good food and drink, great.

Good parking, good selection of eateries overlooking the marina, well worth a visit even if you are not interested in boats!

I live in this area, and it's a nice quiet community, boats aren't loud and i live in centre of the marina! Loads of different cuisine and good scenery. I recommend simply Italian! Could use more outdoor activities.

We had a lovely stroll around the harbour which has several nice places to eat but not really any shops.

Very similar architecture to the Albert Docks in Liverpool. Inner and outer harbours. Quite large. Not too many restaurants and eateries. Not recommended on a winters day! Must be nice sitting out by the water in good weather for at least a coffee.

We came here 10 years ago when the building work wasn't completely finished. Very lovely walks around the marina, both north and south and along the sea front. There a few restaurants and cafes. All low key.

The harbour is really lovely.
The kids and I really enjoyed looking at all the boats.
We've been a few times now and tried a few different places to eat.
Unfortunately we have yet to find a decent restaurant. All a bit conveyor belt.
Nice for a stroll and a pint :)

A walk along the Beach path brings you to the Harbour, full of Boats of every type, the main attraction are the shops and Restaurants, there is a Chippy or a Harvester for cheap meals, go and see, very nice.

This is a lovely spot to visit on a sunny day. To sit outside one of the cafe/ restaurants with a coffee or a meal is a lovely way to soak up the atmosphere. Many more shops are needed however as it is more of a concrete jungle in the surrounding area than was promised.
Take a walk right around the harbour or a boat tour, simply lovely

Best part to live in Eastbourne. Beautiful to walk around. Some nice places to eat and drink too. Maybe a good idea might be to move here and maybe live on a boat.
