I went to Harry Ramsdens first. I was the only customer in the shop. The three members of staff never acknowledged my presense. Two of them started a conversation and then lest the area,the other one continued to ignore me. Not surprisingly I decided to take my custom elsewhere.<br>Qualisea is a short walk away so went there. The complete opposite customer service greeted me. The staff member was helpfull,friendly and attentive.<br>My order arrived promptly and was delicious. That is how you run a business.

Haven't been to all of the fish restaurants in Eastbourne, but I would rate this as one of the best after two or three visits. Why go anywhere else when the food is this good? Will return when we're next in town.

Bring your own plate, because of restaurant policy they told me we couldn't have two plates while sharing a dish of fish & chips there, true story.

Tasty food with v. friendly service. Portions were generous and very reasonable prices. No frills decor, more cafe style than resaturant (in my opinion) but that was neither here nor there as it was worth every penny. I would definitely go back.

Been coming for18 years, with numerous gaps in between.<br><br>If I’m in Eastbourne I always come here and will always bring friends. Never brought someone who hasn’t enjoyed the food.<br><br>The chips are perfection, the fish divine.<br><br>My only gripe is that I wish the soft drinks were on tap I don’t mind paying £2.65 for a Coca-Cola but it stings a bit when it comes in a can. Alternatively pour the can out. This is a minor complaint and it won’t stop me coming.
