Went to Qualisea on a busy bank holiday Monday. Lots of places to sit and was seated quickly by the team. The fish and chips themselves were very tasty and standard price for fish and chips.<br><br>However the reason for 3 stars was the atmosphere and service. We did not feel like it was a place we wanted to stay for long. We were sat near the bar and could hear staff gossiping about customers. We also shared a large fish and chips and were told we would not receive an extra plate. Chips portion was quite small for a large. Sprite from the can was flat.

Being a Yorkshire man I take my fish and chips very seriously! This is the place to eat in Eastbourne! Lovely staff and fresh hot food! Would 100% eat here again!

Been eating here for over 20 years, lovely fish and chips, friendly staff and good value for money. It's eat in or take away and there are tables outside to eat your take away or it's just a short walk to Eastbourne beach/pier.

The nice place, the friendly staff but the chef has no patience. I could never get past the toilet omg ;) always bussy. The fish was good and the potatoes were swimming in fat.

Recommended by our local guide, we were pleasantly surprised. The service was good and prompt, the cod and chips was delicious, flaky soft super fresh fish. Delicious and for a very good price

Third time we have eaten here and every time has been excellent. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic and the choice was very good as well. We will be back and would happily recommend Qualisea to others.

I came here with my mum and we were craving fish and chips. We finally decided on this restaurant as it was comparatively cheaper than others in the area.<br>Safe to say we made a good choice!! We had the fish (haddock) and chips which was really tasty. The batter was not too oily and the fish was not dry at all.<br>The only downside was that the tartar sauce came from a packet.
