Excellent service excellent food we started with mellenzarna Parmigianino and believe me being half Italian you just can't find an original taste of this dish the only other place I've had as good as this is Cosa Nostra in Whitby north Yorkshire we will definitely be coming back when we visit Eastbourne again spot on

We have just had the best Italian meal for a long while. Didn’t book but they fitted us in on a very busy night! My husband had the liver which he said was the best he had ever had! I had avocado and salmon to start which was massive! Couldn’t finish my tagliatelle, but it was amazing. Wish we had an Italian like this near where we live. It was excellent!

We had dinner here during our visit to Eastbourne and it was one of the best italian food I've ever had. The melanzane was absolutely delicious and would strongly recommend it to anyone. The service was excellent and we had a wonderful time here. The food was reasonably priced. There was a crowd which explains the popularity of this restaurant.

This was, by far, the best Italian food I have tasted outside of Italy. The restaurant was extremely busy when we arrived for our 7.30 Saturday night booking, customers were queuing to get in. The staff are all friendly and efficient and it didn't take too long for everyone to be seated. There is a good selection of wine on offer, all the meals and deserts are made on the premises; and, they even have home made cassata ice cream. All reasonably priced. Big and small groups, couples and families are all welcome in this traditional lively restaurant.

Visited sister restaurant to La Locanda Del Duca which is located next door and clearly shares in terms of quality food (shares kitchen too !) . Extensive menu with more of a emphasis upon family friendly pizza and pasta dishes.
If wanting a high quality Italian meal with excellent friendly service the restaurant is from our experience on a level with sister restaurant and would recommend a visit.

I have been to this restaurant several times and it surely must be one of the most popular restaurants in Eastbourne as it is always busy and buzzing.
The ambience is very authentic Italian and so is the menu, it contains most things you would hope to find on an Italian restaurant menu.I recommend the 3 course set menu, it represent excellent value and the portions are generous and the food cooked perfectly.
The service is also very good and the waiting staff are very attentive and friendly.If you're looking for an authentic Italian restaurant you cannot go wrong with a visit to Pomodoro e Mozzarella.

We celebrated my birthday here with our family (of nine) They always look after us well and are very good with the grandchildren. Service was good, food was excellent and overall a 1st class experience. We will return.

Lorraine and I had been trying to book somewhere to celebrate an anniversary and most of the hotels we looked at were really not interested. We rang the restaurant and enquired if they were able to take a booking of 25, no problem was their reply!

They finally seated 28 of us on Sunday afternoon, the food was superb, the service was excellent and the whole experience one which everybody enjoyed, the food all arrived at the same time, which was exceptional as it was ordered a la carte. Not one person in our party had anything negative to say about the meal.Drinks and food are reasoanbly priced. I had the Sardines and Sausage in saffron sauce, absolutely delicious.
Give them a try it's well worth it!

The service was very prompt and the waiters appeared to be genuine Italians rather than from Eastern Europe. I went for one of my favourite dishes, Saltimbocca alla Romana which was fine. However, where the restaurant scored was the quality and presentation of its desserts: I had an excellent Cassata.

Stayed in Eastbourne during the air show week. A friend of ours recommended the restaurant to us and after having dined there the first night of our stay, we went there 4 nights in a row. Every single dish was perfect and the service outstanding. Special thanks to Pedro and Miguel from "the Brazilians".

Needed to book something last minute on a Friday for a party of 6 (including 2 kids). They were able to fit us in, advising us to arrive before their busiest period which worked well for us. A really lovely big, bright airy restaurant, with lots of very professional looking staff scurrying about. The service in particular was impressive, there always seemed to be someone there just when you needed them.
The menu was a bit daunting as the list of dishes was a lot longer than you might find in an average Italian restaurant, but everything we ordered was delicious, and there was a real buzz about the place. It definitely seemed to be popular with the locals, and the layout seemed to work especially well for larger groups.

This Italian restaurant is amazing!! the food was delicious the only problem was choosing from all the scrummy sounding dishes. The service was great. It has a really friendly atmosphere and was value for money. I would visit Eastbourne just to go to this restaurant. I would recommend you book as the queue was out of they door.
