Visited twice this lovely Italian restaurant, got good service and very tasty food. We had spaghetti with ham and bacon, penne with beef stripes, tagliatelle with prawns and asparagus. All tasted excellent. The staff recognized us after first visit and were very polite. Highly recommended.

It starts with a warm welcome, followed by attentive service and most importantly excellent food at a reasonable price. The result is a well run restaurant, with smart waiters, and a bustling atmosphere so that you do not hear any muzak.

My family and I have been visiting this restaurant for years (even before they bought the restaurant next door!). The food is unmatched, my favourites are the garlic mushrooms and the pizzas are delicious. If you're a vegetarian - the vegetarian lasagne is one of the best I think I've ever eaten. The set menu is also great value, and has plenty of options. I'm normally too full for desserts, but the little chocolate mouse is gorgeous! Not only the food, but the staff are also excellent. There are plenty of familiar faces who have been there for years, who are friendly, efficient and very accommodating. There have rarely been occasions when the service hasn't been up to scratch, or when the food hasn't been up to standards. If you can, I would always try to book as on a busy night you'll probably have to wait for a table - but it would be worth it!

We absolutely love this restaurant so much, we have been several times on various visits to Eastbourne and it never fails to disappoint.
The restaurant is always bustling and it seats many while servicing delicious and fresh food.
Perfect for families as it had a great childrens menu and also a separate gluten free menu offering gluten free pasta and pizza.
As well as the food the cocktails are delicious...

Fabulous restaurant. Such a great atmosphere, felt like we were in Italy. Attentive, friendly staff, buzzing ambience, fantastic menu, generous portions and really delicious food. Highly recommend!

Had a delicious dinner in here on a Friday night. We were warmly welcomed and quickly seated (we had a reservation). The restaurant was pretty busy and had a great atmosphere for fairly early on and there was a complete spectrum of customers - couples, families, friends etc. The menu is wide ranging and has something for all tastes. The food was delicious - the starter portions were very generous, the pizzas were thin and crispy and the pasta was beautifully cooked, none of which was a surprise of course given the restaurant's reputation. The service was very friendly and attentive, but not overly-so, and as we left there was a queue for the restaurant on the street for those looking to get in on the action. Definitely worth booking ahead!

Delicious and delightful family italian restaurant. This place stays busy so be prepared for a wait. The vegetarian lasagne was perfection. My husband had the lamb and said it was great. Staff was friendly and fun. Ask for a limoncello after dinner.

Got in here easy enough on second night of Airborne, so most places full. Service was quick, place was busy, so good sign. Staff friendly, food was more than adequate, had cannelloni as main, girlfriend ordered Avocado salad, it came out wrong, but was not an issue as was nice enough. Had sharing starter which was nice as well.

We have eaten here many times - despite it being over 50 miles from home ! - and always seek it out when we are in Eastbourne. They do an excellent fixed price menu (as well as having an a la carte menu) which is quite comprehensive and terrific value.
All the staff are very friendly and efficient - just watching them clear and change the tablecloths etc between diners is a pleasure as they work so swiftly and efficiently !

Love this restaurant and visit regularly, although we are 30 miles away! An absolute buzzing restaurant where there is a menu that should appeal to all, offering pizza, pasta, salads, meat and fish dishes that are beautifully prepared and served. Service is quick and everything is freshly cooked. The welcome is always warm and the service is quick and efficient. Great value for money if you choose from their 2 or 3 course selections, making it affordable for all.

The food was delicious and a great value for money! The portion sizes are above average and we really enjoyed our pizza! The staff were very friendly and apologetic when service was delayed by even 10 minutes, which we found very good. If I'm ever in Eastbourne again, I will make sure go visit!

You can choose two or three plates for a very accessible price, but the recommendations of the Chef out of the offer are sensational, its "Fish trio" is sensational, also it was very fresh. They have several wines, but be to say that the wine of the house is very good and the very accessible price for the United Kingdom.
Nearby, but impeccable service on the part of the manager and the bartenders.The owner has to be really proud about his place!

A group of us had booked a table for a Friday night. On arrival we received a friendly welcome and were shown to our table. Not surprisingly, the restaurant was pretty busy when we arrived. The restaurant is a fair size for a place the size of Eastbourne and felt bright and cheerful to me and is next door to the more up market Locanda del Duca- apparently under the same ownership. Waiting staff were attentive (but not overly so) and helpful. As for the wine, we went for Nero d'avola, which was acceptable. The food was good, nicely presented and in good sized portions. All in our party seemed very satisfied at the end of the evening.
