I go to this restaurant at least twice a month, I do try other restaurants but keep on coming back to this and their sister restaurant La loconda del Duca. The food and service is always first class

Absolutely my go-to place to eat! The food is heavenly - especially the pizza! Great for a family get together e.g. birthdays (can arrange getting a cake made or if staff see that it's your birthday you may get a pudding on the house!). Staff are the most lovely people I've ever met in a restaurant and are very polite. 100% recommend.

Christmas Eve tradition we always join friends here for a post Panto meal. This restaurant won’t win a Michelin Star but never disappoints - service is super friendly, food good quality and atmosphere great. Somewhere you can laugh and joke without fear of upsetting anyone - perfect for families with children.

When another new local restaurant let us down on my wife's 60th Birthday, we came back to one of our favourite restaurants Pomodoro e Mozzarella, to celebrate again and as always, things were perfect. They are welcoming, the service is friendly & efficient and they cater for my no salt diet, without any issue. A sign of a good restaurant is the dishes are freshly cooked. The food, as always was outstanding and the waiters sang "Happy Birthday" to my wife with her desert and presented her with a card and a 10% off voucher for a future meal. This family owned business and their sister restaurant La Locanda Del Duca are a credit to Eastbourne and thank goodness they are located here. They never disappoint you and you can depend on a warm welcome, good service and good food. You cannot ask for anything more.

I was part of a large group booking 90+ diners. We had pre-ordered main course and deserts from a choice of 7 mains (including 2 vegetarian) and 5 desserts.
Service was slick and all diners were pleased with their food.

We ate here again in a large family group of 8 adults and 6 children. The food was lovely. My children enjoyed the spag bol and carbonara. We enjoyed the calamari, sardines, the tortelloni with asparagus and the tagliatelle with salmon and spinach. I didn't have a desert but my Dad enjoyed the strudel, my sister enjoyed the panna cots and my niece enjoyed an ice cream. My partner had a good beer that was on offer and I enjoyed a non-alcoholic cocktail. The service was great and they were really lovely with our children. My brother forgot to order for my nephew and they whipped him up something really quickly so he was still able to eat with us. All in all really good tasty Italian food and really good friendly, helpful service.
