Last trip to the beach on south coast pre lockdown v2.0 and thought we might have lunch here....had eaten here previously many moons ago for a pre theatre evening meal and thought it was absolutely great...<br>This time they had a set menu deal ( 2 courses or 3 courses.... with lots of choices/options! 😁)....👍<br>Judging by the number of people here at 3.30pm, I guess it's a pretty well known venue!<br>Covid19 awareness....from Sanitizer at entrance, NHS track and trace codes or noting personal info on page at entrance, screens between well spaced out tables....👍<br>Well looked after by waiting staff and excellent 3 course meal...loved it!🥂

Amazing.Food.Ever. I am not Italian but very picky when it comes to pasta and pizza (thanks to my best friends being Italian). But their food was so amazing, I wanted to cry with joy! The portion is amazingly big so recommend to go with reasonably hungry state.<br>とても美味しいイタリアンですよ！パスタはアルデンテで、ピザも薄い生地で美味！量が多いので、日本の方はメインだけで一杯だと思います(私も半分残しちゃいました...)

Fantastic menu, staff, food n ambience. Traditional Italian trattoria catering for family dynamic or Coeliac and vegan so was a a treat to not have to compromise on choice, taste and flavour! Would be back in a flash !

Recently went here for a quick evening meal. It’s a lovely local Italian, the pizza was delicious but the pasta so so..
The service could have been better but maybe they were busy and their Covid plastic separators a little ‘office-like’. I would however go again!

Surprisingly busy, and for me, the tables were a little too close together, although they were covid safe, as there was a transparent screen between tables.

We visited here on Tuesday. The food was lovely with very generous portions, very covid safe with partitions up. Excellent value and 20% off Monday-Thursday. The only slight niggle was they charged £3.40 for three small pieces of garlic bread, but other than that everything was perfect.

Was recommended to eat here by the owner of the guesthouse we stayed and they even booked the table for us.
A very busy Friday night even in these Coronavirus times always a sign of a good restaurant.
The layout has been set out with plastic dividing screens between all tables to adhere to social distancing and lots of cleaning going on. The servers all wear face masks or shields and gloves. There’s also a one way system in place. Taking the prevention measures seriously.
Back to the meal itself prompt and attentive service by the staff a good selection on the menu and variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks including mock tails and cock tails.
The meals we had were flavoursome and just a nice manageable portion apart from the desert which was huge! Great value too. Probably one of the best Italian meals I’ve eaten outside Italy.
The atmosphere was buzzing and busy which added to the ambiance.
Worth checking out or it’s sister restaurant next door. Street parking available close by and is accessible for those less mobile.
All in all a great experience.
