We visited Pomodoro e Mozzarella with our family on a chilly Sunday night in December. The restaurant was warm and welcoming. The menu offered a long and impressive list of choices. We had some olives and flat breads as an appetiser and they were some of the best olives I've ever had. Even my wife, a long time olive sceptic, had to agree! Our pasta dishes were wonderful, full of flavour and beautifully cooked as were the pizzas. The apple strudel dessert was full fruit and was nicely presented. The service was excellent and I would highly recommend this delightful restaurant.

Never fails to give a lovely atmosphere. Very good value.It can accommodate a lot of people,however,at peak times,you may find it hard to just turn up without booking first.

The meal cant be faulted, but if you want a quiet tete to tete this is not the place. Its busy and noisy with often large groups of people. However the service is good and you get a smile.

I have been here twice. On both occasions it was lunchtime. The first time I went here was for lunch on a Saturday. On the Saturday it was really nice, we had great food along with flawless service.
On the Sunday I visited the food was still just as great however because the restaurant was very busy we felt the service lacked. The waitress that served us was very abrasive and a smile would not have gone a miss.
I will come back, just not on a Sunday.

My wife and I have been coming to Pomodoro e Mozzarella for many years now and having travelled the world are always pleased with this gem of a restaurant in Eastbourne town centre. We celebrated our new year 2015 in New York and last Saturday evening reminded me of that. Pomodora could easily be transported there and would be equally as popular. We sat with mouths open at how packed this large restaurant was with even more people pouring in for their festive function downstairs but the waiters maintained their efficient friendliness at all times and we had our usual wonderful Italian meal at the usual pace and quality despite the deluge of other dinner compatriots. This restaurant is run superbly and should be only given the highest rating.

Was introduced to this lovely Italian,been many times this year and never failed to impress me. Atmosphere at weekends is excellent and service is decent. food is delicious and I would recommend the sirloin steak with mushroom and red wine sauce!!

I cant wait to eat here again. My friend and her family eat here often as it's their favourite restaurant in Eastbourne, now I know why. The staff are outstanding and the food looks and tastes divine. The menu is big so your bound to find plenty of choice no matter what your diet requires. The restaurant is very close to the sea and town centre and is a definitely worth a visit. No faults at all.

This is excellent for either a quick pre-theatre bite to eat, or a more romantic evening out. The service is always great as there are so many staff to attend to you. The food is fresh and in the case of pizzas, prepared and cooked in front of you. Just a great little restaurant which is very popular in Eastbourne.

We ate here as it was close to the hotel on a wet and windy night. The food is homemade and tasty but nothing special. The service was good for a busy Saturday evening and plenty of staff on hand if needed. I wouldn't visit again next time I'm in Eastbourne.

This is the 2nd time we have been to this restaurant and it never fails to please. The staff are wonderful, the food is simply delicious, and served promptly, and the atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this restaurant, and will be returning the next time we visit Eastbourne.

Booked a table for nine family members for a get together. Lovely looking restaurant and nice clean interior. Our waiter for the night was good. The food was well presented and was really nice. Unfortunately there were a couple of mistakes with our order but they were rectified quickly so no complaints there at all. The one thing that I didn't like (and would steer clear of restaurants doing this) was that a service charge was added. I believe in the customer choosing how much to give as a tip and not being told how much they have taken, having said that, it was a pleasant meal

We visited this restaurant last Saturday and were very impressed. It is quite a large restaurant and by 7 o'clock it was already very busy. A table was found for us and we enjoyed a delicious meal. The fish stew was excellent as was the spinach and ricotta cannelloni (I've never had a better cannelloni).
The restaurant seems very child friendly and the atmosphere was cheerful and buzzy.There was nothing to criticise. A lovely meal.

Usually need to book at weekends as very popular restaurant. Good food and service. Typical Italian style food with a pizza oven where you can watch chef prep and cook your favourite pizza. Good choice of pasta meat and fish dishes too. Set menu or a la carte available and a good children's choice.

Such a friendly welcome on a miserable rainy evening. Smiles soon returned to ur faces when the food arrived. The sea bass fillets were superb and the pasta dish delicious.
