About 20 of us descended on the restaurant, it was booked. Excellent friendly service and all meals were brought together and were delicious, no one left waiting for their meal.

Visited restaurant on recommendation from the hotel we were staying in. Saturday night in January and busy. Can imagine the need to book later in the tourist season.
We had veal which my partner loved and I had the bream with ginger, chilli and garlic. It was lovely and delicate.Partner had the ice cream profiteroles for her desert but actually wasn't that impressed as both of them were pretty solid. Perhaps they need a bit of defrosting before bringing to the table?
Service was good with lots of staff buzzing around. Would definitely go again if/when in Eastbourne.

Went for work Christmas party! The staff catered excellently. Table set out nicely, Christmas crackers and gluten free options. Food was delicious.

We visit the Pomodoro e Mozzerella every time we stay in Eastbourne as we love the food, staff and general atmosphere of the restaurant. It is family friendly and the pizzas are huge and my children love them. Always book in high season as it gets very busy. There is another part of the restaurant next door if you are looking for a quiet more adult evening meal with a slightly more sophisticated menu.

We called into this restaurant one Sunday by chance without booking, it was busy but the friendly staff sorted a for us within a couple of minutes.
A good extensive menu with simple but quality dishes, the pizzas are very good!The restaurant is large with plenty of seating with a real mix of customers, couples, families, old & young.
You can see the kitchen area which is nice and everywhere is kept tidy & clean.All the staff seem very happy, helpful & friendly.
So, I would recommend this restaurant for it's friendly staff, cleanliness, quality food & good value too!

Tasty food, I had chicken with a wine sauce as did my fiancé.
Was served promptly by polite waiters and food was hot as expected, only criticism was the decor leaves a bit to be desired, could do with updating to be a touch more modern. Prices were reasonable giving the portion sizes.

We read the reviews and thought it was worth a look as we were only a few minutes walk away, and were not disappointed!!! Fantastic food, the seabass was to die for, and the friendly staff made us feel very welcome considering we were not local. If ever In Eastbourne again, we will definitely be returning!!! Credit to all the staff, especially the chef!

We have been coming to this restaurant for years. Once or twice a month at least. I can safely say that we have never had a bad meal or unpleasant experience. Whenever we have tried other places we were disappointed as very few would match this one on service or food quality. Sometimes we visit as a couple or the whole family. We have also held works staff parties at this restaurant.
Regardless of the numbers the waiters/owner/staff are always friendly and attentive, nothing is too much trouble. The service is always prompt. The food is always fresh, tasty and superbly presented. Over the years we have pretty much tried everything on the menu and have never been disappointed. I could not recommend this restaurant enough!

If we are in hurry and want good simple Italian food go to here as opposed to its sister restaurant next door which is for more leisurely dining. The pasta is good and the pizzas more than adequate,and if you really must, they will let you have a dish from next door, since they appear to share a kitchen.

This restaurant could not be described as serving fine cuisine, but the dishes were of high quality, reasonably priced, and it is a deservedly popular restaurant, one of the busiest in town.
The maitre d was particularly impressive in that he just seemed to know exactly when to take your order, when to refill you glass and when to have the next course served. In the nicest possible way, I would say he is one of the old school, constantly scanning the restaurant to see that everything is running as it should. A true professional, seemingly with eyes in the back of his head!

We visited this Restaurant before going to the Devonshire Park Pantomime,I would recommend this Italian Restaurant, the meal was very good the service was also good and It is an ideal place to eat before going to the Theatre as it is only 10 minutes walk away. We will certainly go there again.

Taking value for money, quality of the food, efficiency and friendliness of service and atmosphere into account, this was the best place I've been to this year. Our Christmas lunch menu was only £12.50 for three courses. Nothing special in terms of culinary skills: just plain, wholesome and generous Italian food. The restaurant was packed including several large groups. All the staff worked hard to ensure that no-one had to wait for their food.
Our bill for three adult menus and one child, including drinks, coffee and the tip was an extremely reasonable £72. We'll be back!!

We had our work Christmas lunch here today and it was brilliant! Staff were lovely and food was goergeous and great value. Organising a lunch for 25 people can be tricky sometimes but this place made it really easy, thanks very much
