I took my mum here for lunch on her birthday and the staff were very attentive to her needs, my mum is 92 and they made her feel special and could not have helped anymore to make such a special day, they were fantastic. The food was authentic Italian and very well priced. it is a great family restaurant for all ages.

We went on a family vacation to England in August, 2015 and during our visit we went to Eastbourne to see the Airshow. We were traveling with young children and one with strong food preferences, and whilst we mostly cooked for ourselves we knew that if we went out we would need to find a place that served something he liked, as enjoying an evening walk around Eastbourne on a Friday evening, when we spotted Pomodoro E Mozzarella we knew that we couldn't go wrong with an Italian restaurant,...and once you walk through doors, you truly are in Italy. Delightful Pasta dishes, an Italian waiter, understanding of children needs, excellent service, clean, classy. A pleasure. If we are ever in Eastbourne again we will go back.

This is the top choice for a visit to grandparents as it is great for all ages from 88 to 8. The food covers all the Italian bases from pasta and pizza to meat and fish dishes. Service is prompt and swift and children are always welcomed and never seen as a burden. The food is well priced and as a result the restaurant can get busy and noisy at times. Wonderful pizza bread with tomato and garlic. Great coffee

Food was reasonable in cost, quick service and very tasty. Felt very authentic. We had a mushroom pizza (this was a kids portion) which was huge and plenty for my daughter!, meatballs and spaghetti, my partner devoured! I had the grilled chicken in tomato and garlic sauce which was delicious... Although I am on a diet the puddings that were being served to other tables looked divine.. would come back and try one!

We went on a Saturday evening, we didn't book and took a punt we would get a table. We were very lucky as we had no idea how busy they would be and we seemed to get the last free table. Although tucked away in the corner it wasn't bad at all.
It was very loud in there (not wanting to sound old) but over all the atmosphere was great and food was superb. My wife had pasta and I had pizza, both we amazing!
Reasonably priced and good service I would go again! !

Visited on a Saturday night with friends.
Very busy but luckily we had made a reservation, this is a must! The restaurant is very noisy but the atmosphere is good, I wouldn't recommend if you want a quiet, romantic night out.
The service was excellent and even though extremely busy we never had to wait long.On our table starters were fish soup, pate and whitebait, all very good.
Mains were fillet steak-cooked to perfection!Monkfish and veal, all very tasty and presented well.
Reasonable prices and excellent service but definitely book before hand.

My husband and I had dinner here one Saturday night when our first two chosen restaurants were fully booked. On arrival it was hard to see that we would ever get any food but we did and it was very good. The waiting staff are great.
The only part of our experience here that could have been improved is how we were greeted, in a pack of about 15 other people.

This is still and will always be such a great place to eat. The young waiter (would love to know his name) was so friendly and welcoming. I never caught his name although I wish I had thanked him more and the rest of the staff for being so nice. Very lovely food, you feel apart of their family, love it here so much.

I visited this restaurant with a friend whilst on a weekend away. The restaurant was full & we had to wait a few minutes for a table - a good sign I think. The atmosphere was friendly & the staff welcoming. They were able to adapt their dishes to ensure they were milk-free - I have an allergy. The food was delicious & the waiting staff had a good knowledge of their menu - not always a given these days!
We had a great evening & if ever I go to Eastbourne again I will go back. If u r considering this restaurant then please go. You will not be disappointed.

Great food at reasonable prices with very friendly staff. This is an excellent location for a pre theatre meal and they offer a 10% pre-theatre discount.

This place oozes service. There often more waiters than patrons, but they are there to help. I love the sardines here, they are listed as a starter, but more than enough for a main. Sorry about the photo, I just couldn't resist eating some before i took the picture!!! Great pizzas, good value as well, under £50 for both of us, two pizzas, starter to share and wine.

My daughter arranged for a table for nineteen yesterday night (27 Feb 2016) to celebrate her birthday. The staff were, without exception, excellent going way beyond was expected, smiling through our ordering confusion. The food was also very good and was served quickly despite the restaurant being busy, a very pleasant evening as was our earlier visit.

We went in for lunch, we hadnt booked but we were given a table straight away. Within 2 minutes we were asked if we were ready to order, which I thought was a bit quick. We did notice some tables were given olives as soon as they sat at their table, and a jug of lemon water. We were just rushed into ordering our food as soon as we sat down. After we ordered our starters they were with us within 5 minutes, which is pretty good because the place was quite busy. The starters were quite tasty and a fair sized portions. When our main course was bought out the first thing I noticed on my girlfriends dish was the seabass did not have crispy skin, apart from that the fish was well cooked, and the sauce on the fish was nice. My main course was fairly tasty, except I expected more flavour for the ingredients used in it, to be honest it tasted more like Cod in butter sauce instead of Monkfish and clams in a wine, cream and saffron sauce. And some of the Monkfish was rather salty. We were not overly dissappointed with the place, the food was OK but it didnt have the wow factor. The price was fair enough.

Wonderful, booked for 3 then changed at the door for 4 then heard we were having another to join us. Did the staff complain? NO they were brilliant just quietly moved a table over no problem. Next problem - the two 'extras ' were only there for a short period of time and the main course, again the waitress and waiter were more than helpful and understanding . I didn't think timings would work but they did! We all ate our mains then they left to return to work and we carried on eating! My granddaughter loved her lunch of spaghetti bolognaise ,icecream ,cream and smarties and 2 orange juices. My bruschetta, pasta vegetarian and panna cotta was all wonderful.
All in all a mixed numbers times and ages but worked so well due to staff .Thank you we will certainly be returning.

The first review I done about this resturant was really good, but I went back with my partner on Saturday evening .food still very good ,but waitresses rushing around one waitress dropped some food on one lady sitting in front of me.we was looking at menue and was asked if we had chosen a few times we wasn't even taking long ,.but you got the feeling they wanted you in then out as quick as possible.i like a more relaxing dinning experience.i think it's got to popular.

Every part of our evening was superb. The food was elegantly presented, cooked to perfection, and deliver led to our table in a timely, courteous, and formal way.
The food portions were more than enough but not over the top, and the accompanying wine was divine, despite being one of the cheaper options!
Would defiantly recommend.

Impeccable service from reserving a table by phone (highly recommended!) to being served hot, tasty, fresh Italian food, I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. We have visited for the past 6 years and everything has remained an excellent standard. Definatley worth a visit!

Living in Eastbourne, we often pop in here for lunch or evening meals. Always reliable. F riendly staff and well presented, tasty food. They are happy to cater for individuals, couples, larger groups and really big groups (students, tennis groups, birthdays) etc., and there are often good offers. There are enough rooms to make sure that no one is inconvenienced by larger groups. Trustworthy Italian restaurant. If you want "posher nosh" go to to their other restaurant next door - La Locanda
