I've been going here for years and it's always brilliant! Nando and the team do an outstanding job and the food is the best you'll find on Grove Road! There's a great range of fresh items in the delicatessen, and a good selection of dried pasta, sauces, wines etc.

Whenever we go to Eastbourne we always go here. The staff are so friendly and the food is lovely. We have been to Italy a few times ,the food here is just as good Really do recommend Mamma Mia

The only place in town has authentic Italian food not cooked for the mass... Fantastic pizzas, calzone and buffet choices... and seafood linguini my kids favourite, but I couldn't fault any dish of the menu I have tried. The coffee is delicious, the espresso a real espresso, a crime to don't get any of those lovely little cakes ! Had the tuna steak recently with cavolo Nero, absolutely tasty. Funny to read some (only one or two luckily) comments of people clearly trying to damage the great reputation of this place... wondering if they get some free stuff from other competitors 😉 well done guys, just carry on like this and let us enjoy the yumminess of your food +++++

I cannot praise this place highly enough.
I have been coming here for several years, sometimes with colleagues for meetings and sometimes with friends and family.
Most importantly the service and people are absolutely wonderful.
The food is lovely, authentic and really well priced. It is also freshly cooked and delicious.
The coffee and pastries are yummy.
One of my favourite things is they do a thing called caffe sospeso. This is basically where you buy a coffee “in suspense”. It means that anyone can come in who is perhaps a little down on their luck or waiting for payday and ask if there are any caffe sospesos. If there are they get a free cup of coffee which has been paid for in advance by an anonymous stranger.
This is a lovely idea which originated in Naples. The people here come from Naples and the hospitality is second to none.
It’s open all day and in the evenings and is also licensed.
It is clean and set up for social distancing and feels totally safe.
I love it here.

A piece of real Italia in Eastbourne

Very nice food, limited choice of dishes but all dishes are very nice, very helpful staff. Pizza's are a good price and dough / pizza base it goodvery good. Relaxed cafe atmosphere, rather then restaurant feel, although service was good. Recommend you choose your own toppings for the pizza as some are not to everyone's liking.

My favourite pizza place. Have never been disappointed

Perfect coffee and service

Amazing food, truly simple and fresh as Italian food is.
We are Italians and it's usually very hard to find a real Italian Restaurant.
Mamma Mì is definitely a wonderful place to discover during your holidays in Eastbourne.
Gianpaolo was so kind to us. We hope to come back one day.

Loved it. Food was delicious, staff were lovely and friendly, they were very accommodating for toddlers and babies, offering to cook exactly what they asked for (fat pasta and tomato sauce!) Which made a family meal out brilliant and stress free, no fuss or "I don't want to eat that". We went on the 50% off gov scheme, but will definitely be going back, more than happy to pay full price. Thank you mamma Mí for a lovely dinner out 👍😁

Whilst staying on a mini mother-daughter mini break, we found this restaurant and it was the perfect end to a wonderful few days. Very good service and beautiful food in a relaxed, family run restaurant is what you get. Food is freshly cooked and the portions generous...do not hesitate to go!

I've been to Mamma Mia now a number of times for a number of different occasions from coffee & sweet treats to their buffet lunch as well as evening dinner and it's honestly the best Italian restaurant I've ever been too. The food is simply scrumptious and the service and friendly attitude of the staff and owner is even better. Incredibly friendly and very accommodating. Will be visiting many more times and certainly recommending to friends and family.

The staff were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble If you can get a table in August - you will benefit from the eat out to help out scheme - so order the 3 courses !!
