Visited this restaraunt with friends on a mid week evening. We were seated quickly as we were there as it opened. Kerelan cuisine was new to us and we weren't disappointed. Full of flavour but not overpowered by spicy heat. We were advised that it was a limited menu at present due to recently opening and covid, but in two weeks time it will be extended. I hope the excellent food and service remain the same once things ramp up a bit. Very reasonably priced for four of us too (with drinks) We will certainly be back.

Firstly, it feels really safe in this COVID pandemic to dine-in. The staffs are very polite and friendly and the food is awesome to enjoy as a family. As a family, we thoroughly enjoyed the food. Simply there is nothing wrong to spot.<br>In addition to this, my entire family enjoyed the fresh, flaky and delicious parathas

Nice tasty starter of lamb followed by a prawn curry which was light but really full of spices and flavour, a welcome change from heavy curry’s. Then had their own desert, well worth a try. Really friendly owners and well worth a visit. Will definitely be visiting again

The staff were so friendly and accommodated my two boys and I on a busy night; wonderful homely feeling. The Curry was some of the best I have tasted, interesting twists on dishes made a refreshing change (from more common North Indian and Bangladeshi style), generous portions and such rich, strong, clever spices. The fish was outstanding. Considering the quality, excellent value too.

Went for the first time this evening. Excellent food. Lovely friendly staff Not had a masala dosa since we left South London a few years ago. It was delicious (and huge). We then had pepper curry and rice and coconut bread. All lovely. Wine nice too. We will definitely be back.

Amazingly fresh and tasty food with loads of gluten free options. Keralan food is my favourite, with much more interesting flavours than northern Indian cuisine and much healthier too as they don't cook with lots of oil. I wish they did a cookery course as I want to be able to cook like this!

A gem of a find, my wife and i were on a weekend break in Eastbourne. We came across this restaurant by chance, and so glad we did. Even without booking they did everything possible to find us a table. Which i am extremely grateful for. The food was magnificent just as was the staff. It is authentic and cooked with pure heart. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for very good quality and quantity at great prices. We will definitely return when we are in Eastbourne again. Thank you again for fitting us in.

Had a really good experience there ... As a vegan it is hard to find (good) out of London and especially in small coastal towns. Great service and food made with love. Happy to support a family business. On the other hand I would not have mind less oil in the curries. Try the masala dosa, one of the best I have ever tasted. Would come back !

We visited this new family run restaurant in Eastbourne having been attracted by the menu. It looked different to the usual curry menu with a southern Indian Keralan theme and we were not disappointed. Lovely decor and relaxed atmosphere and the welcome service was excellent throughout. All the food was freshly cooked to order and the chilli paneer was superb as was the kutti dosa and beautifully presented. I would certainly recommend the seafood curry and the lamb and chicken dishes were highly rated too! All backed up with superb rice and fresh bread. The spices and flavours really did stand out and I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant. All very reasonably priced too!
Thank you for a lovely Saturday evening

Considering it’s a recent startup , the very limited menu can be forgiven .
The lamb starter for the price looked really small .
The Kerala porottas were good and the right size but the chicken in the pepper curry seemed like pre boiled cubes of chicken were thrown in to a sauce . (Iceland store bought ?)
The only fish they seem to have is farm raised tilapia which is a downer considering Kerala’s reputation for a wide variety of sea and fresh water fish delicacies.
And how can we call a restaurant a Kerala restaurant if Kerala’s signature Beef is not on the menu ? A typical Kerala restaurant will have all meats ranging from Beef , Pork , Duck , organ meats(liver, brain, tripes)and even Deer meat ( to be fair I’ve only had Kerala deer fry at Muziris in Ilford,London ).
Service was pretty good and the ambiance was done well with a Kerala theme .
Will try again if I’m in the locality but only if I see a real Kerala menu .
All the best .
