Best biryani in Eastbourne HANDS DOWN. Very filling for one, but can be shared, but shockingly tiny amounts of raita served with it, didn't appreciate having to ask for more each time. Chicken pepper was great and went well with the paratha.

The best Indian food I've had since I was last in India . Keralan food at its best , every dish with individual flavours and heat that was just right.

Good value with excellent portions - looking forward to my next visit .

A review of the on-line menu and the excellent reviews confirmed the first, but an on-line enquiry to the restaurant of the second produced the answer "guide dogs only".
Having noted that outside seating was available, we decided to risk it with our well-behaved dog and sat outside.
I needn't have worried.
My wife said that her meal of Uzhunnu Vada Rice & Lentil Doughnuts followed by Malayali Erachi Curry and accompanied by Palappam rice bread was the tastiest Indian meal that she had ever eaten.
I had the Kerala Egg Roast followed by the Kadapuram Seafood Curry with Palappam.
Delicious!

Excellent dishes that I had not tasted before. Would highly recommend the Masala Dosa and the Palakkadan Dosa. I am used to curries and spicy food, but the menu had dishes I had never tried before and was impressed by everything we ordered.
The service was good and the staff were helpful.
It’s situated on the beach side of town. If you like Asian food, I would recommend this place.

Best meal I’ve had in a long time. Beautiful food. Interesting menu. Everything we had was fantastic. Shame we don’t live closer or we would visit weekly!

We went here during the bank holiday weekend in Aug this year. I'm very familiar with kerala cuisine and the dishes served at this restaurant were very authentic and tasty. Staff were also polite and friendly. Definitely worth a visit!<br>We ordered 3 non-alcoholic drinks, a starter and 3 mains, and the bill came up to about 50£.

We had lunch and chose lentil doughnuts with dips followed by aubergine and tomato curry, mushroom and potato curry, lemon rice and a rice based bread. They were all made with fresh ingredients and the flavours were amazing. The fish dishes sounded just as good, we will try them next time!!

I lived and worked in Kerala and ate home cooked Keralan food whilst I stayed there.
Last night we managed to get a table at Malayalam and it was wonderful eating Keralan food again of such high quality!
We had the special lamb biryani cooked in banana leaf, Keralan Kayar Paratha and Vazhuthananga Thakkalli - all were absolutely delicious.
If you’re interested in trying the delicious regional cooking of Kerala, I haven’t found a better restaurant since leaving India and thoroughly recommend. We will definitely be back.

Everything about this was great. I arrived on spec, close to the time when they stopped serving, but I was shown to a table nonetheless. My Malabar coastal chicken curry was incredibly good, served with perfect basmati rice. Never tried Malaysian food? Start here!
