After years of waiting, finally got the approval to have Lightning Fibre installed at my residence, staff that came to install were very friendly, professional and even cleaned up after. Internet was active as soon as installation was complete and just as fast as I expected it to be, no more leaving my computer on to download games or large files overnight! And v good customer service, called a day after to check in and ensure I'm getting the speeds and service I expect. Hoping this level of stability, speeds and service will remain for years to come :)

Great service from Lightning Fibre!
Cully & Callum carried out the installation, and followed my request for the intended cabling route. Everything indoors & outside was very tidy.
The speed is much faster than before, and has, so far, been faultless.
Will be recommending to all my neighbours.

The sales team were extremely polite and helpful, the installation team very conscientious, professional and knowledgeable, but unfortunately the product just doesn’t do what is promised. The WiFi connection drops out a lot on my children’s gaming, and a wired connection I only maxed at 303mbs. This is fast but nowhere near as fast as promised. The speeds are faster than my previous internet but not half as stable. It’s a real shame.

The installation did not go as smooth as we would have liked it and the reason I’ve given 4 stars is due to the customer support. Everything started on time but we never considered that the router may not be able to go where the old router went and we were told we’d have black wires running through the house on the day off installation. Therefore the router was put in the cupboard next the boiler in the kitchen 😱(much to my dismay when I returned home). The signal was terrible. Wouldn’t even reach our tv. Called LF and they put a ticket through. We had an email the next day which I answered and then nothing despite calling a couple of times Through a fluke nearly a week later we had a cold call and I made my feelings known. Within 10 minutes I had a call. Lots of apologies and a site visit. Finally the router was moved to the right place. No black wires. The guys were great THANK YOU 🤩.and the speed / signal is brilliant. However due to the poor communication I have knocked a Star off.

After waiting two years to have lightning fibre as my current provider, as the same as other, many houses work from a telephone line and only generates a low speed for our house, and many others, now, which are smart houses, or have a family that downloads, games and streams, we need more data.
I by chance saw the lightning fibre vans in my area, and I contacted them to see where the program was, and arranged a date for the following few weeks, which was excellent. The two gentlemen that come for the installation were fantastic Installed the lightning fibre with no problems at all.
You have to have a separate box to the modem which I was not expecting. However, it is hidden away. The maiden they supplied is white and has lots of flashing lights which if you have it on the front of you can be quite distracting , however, we have hidden our modem and do not see all the flashing lights. This has not impacted on the speed.
When you plug your ethernet cables directly in you get full speed, however, when you use Wi-Fi it is slightly reduced reducing the further away in the house you go.
We went for the 500 MB package directly in the room. We get 400 to 450 MB download and in the upstairs house we get approximately 150 MB download on WiFi.
It will be good if the company did a telephone package with it, however, I believe that’s coming down the line so we opted to have no landline. However, everybody has mobiles these days.
Did offer me a three month discount, which was excellent, this was to help with the transition from my other provider and a small thank you for waiting thank you Lightning Fibre

Got on and completed the installation without problems. Have same speeds as previously but for more than half of the price I was paying so extremely happy.
A little disappointed that I have to sand down the filling around the wires they installed myself, but other than that I am a very satisfied customer.

Was originally with Talktalk but had nothing but issues with our WiFi , customer service etc etc
As soon as we were able to have Lightning fibre we made the call and arranged connection.

Very pleased with the installation team. I had mapped out an un obtrusive run for the fibre cable beforehand and they were happy to follow that. Installation was clean and tidy with great help and guidance on set up and use of router and booster.
