Painless experience from ordering to installation. Moved from BT who wanted to charge double Lightning Fibre for the same service.

Eastbourne seems to be stuck in the old days with slow Internet speeds where I have moved recently, but then before my house move I stumbled on Lightning Fibre who offered a superfast fibre. I signed up, moved house and then at 8:00am next morning after my move they were here installing. The 2 engineers were amazing and had me up and running in no time at all, nothing was too much trouble.

Speeds are superb both up and downloads, highly recommended!

Arrived ahead of schedule, which for us was not a problem. The installation went smoothly and the engineer ensured that the system was working correctly and helped us with the logging in procedure.

Just had my lightning fibre fitted. Very happy with the entire service from getting set up in the offices in Eastbourne to Conor and Rob who came out and fitted it. They Very neatly and efficiently installed it and I have V good internet speed throughout the flat. V happy. Thank you!

It's now been 6 months since my install, there were no issues at the time, install went without a hitch (except for my neighbor not appreciating the noise from drilling through the wall on his day off), the guys were fast and clean and everything worked.

6 Months on and we have had absolutely no issues! Speed has never dropped below 950md (our package is 1gb) which is miles better than Sky who sold us 50mb but we only received 25mb... And it constantly dropped out for days at a time! and for 3 times the price!

Loads of my neighbors have now since the council allowed them to install (council owned buildings) and they have all had exactly the same experience! Couldn't recommend this company more.

Broadband installed quickly and efficiently in around an hour. Any "bits" were cleaned up and everything explained clearly to me by Conor and Rob who are a credit to Lightning Fibre. Customer service at its best. Would highly recommend

I Have now been with Lightning Fibre for over 3 years. In that time the performance has been great, Upload and download speeds have always been as advertised.

Support, both phone and internet has been first class. The phone response is usually an immediate answer with no waiting and no infuriating music.

My last contract with Lightning ended in June this year and when I became out of contract my monthly charge did not change, no rip off increase like the other broadband suppliers. I recently signed up for a new contract and got the same deal that new customers were offered and there are no price rises every April.

Conor and Roberto installed my lightning fibre - i thought it would be a bit tricky being in a flat, but they did a fantastic job and channelled the wires through discreetly and neatly. Thanks for the excellent service

I initially expressed my interest in Lightning Fibre over 3 years ago. Living in Hastings I knew that it would be some time before the service would be available in my area, having grown up in Croydon I remember how long it to for Croydon Cable to roll out the cable tv service which took years. At the time I was still in contract with a provider and was initially advised by Lightning Fibre that I MIGHT be able to have the service approximately 6 months after that contract was finished (approx 1 year later). I called back Lightning Fibre when my contract was nearly expired and they advised that my area would still not be ready for at least 6 months and suggested I should use Cuckoo internet on a monthly rolling contract until then. I did this and about 6 months later I called again, this time i was advised it was still not available (I was fully aware that Lightning Fibre was a new company deploying their own self sufficent network and unforeseeable problems do happen) I deceided to then get another 18 month contract with another service on full fibre whilst I waited. During that time Lightning Fibre had installed the ducting in my road and I was patiently waiting for my contract to finish.

Eventually with 6 months left on my contract with the other provider, Lightning Fibre emailed me to say the service was now live. I couldn't beleive it, as I was still in contract. I called the customer service team and spoke to Sami, who was quite shocked I had waited over 3 years for the service to arrive in my location. Anyway Sami sorted out everything I needed, including the 2 extenders that I asked for (my house is a terrace, 3 floor house with thick walls).
These cost an extra £4 a month each but I knew they would be needed as wifi signal is not guaranteed due to the nature of the technology and the layout of my house. I was advised installation date wouold be 10 days later and would be contacted the day before to make sure someone over the age of 18 was at the property for the installation. I even got 6 months free service (apart for the extenders) to help me out of my contract with the other provider.

Installation day arrived. Chelsea & Billy went through the installation process and asked where I would like the cable to enter my house and the location of the router. They installed everything just as I wanted and even set up the extenders. They did a very professional job and made sure everything was cleaned up and how I wanted before they left.

The service I am receiving is excellent. I have paid for 1Gbps and this is truly amazing. I get on average 980 Mbps download and about the same upload when directly connected to the router via a network cable. The router and extender are brilliant and the wifi 6 is fast too. On average on our mobile devices, we are getting 700 Mbps down and 650 Mbps up anywhere in our house, which is absolutley amazing.

All in all I am very happy that I chose to go with Lightning Fibre. They are defineatly the company I thought they would be all those years ago.

From my initial contact right through to installation the service has been superb. How refreshing to have a competent, friendly human at the other end of the telephone and local too! Moreover the LF deal is first class, showing considerable savings with greatly enhanced benefits, not to mention a tripling of download speed and double that for uploads !
