First of all how great to have a LOCAL company; I'm delighted with my first dealings with them. I've reduced my crazy BT bill, with an infinitely better monthly rate fixed for 24 months, first month free and extremely quick, clean installation....if that wasn't enough... Best broadband speed I've ever had! All in all.... THUS FAR.... Incredibly pleased with the service!

I have previously been a customer of the big three, Non of them have come close to the level of service i have had from lightning fibre. I am a gamer online so internet reliability is one thing i depend on when joining my friends, With BT,Sky,and Plusnet i would get into a game and bang connection drops out, With Lightning fibre i can game for hours and i have so far not had any drop outs. The price could be a little lower but for the level of service i rate it 10/10

The installation crew were very polite and did a very good job, the only problem i have is that the WiFi keeps going on and off which is becoming increasingly frustrating so it would be great if this problem could be resolved

The person I initially spoke to at Lightning Fibre was very helpful. I decided to sign up because they guarantee the price is fixed for 24 months, and although I’d never had any problems with my previous supplier, I was fed up with their constant price hikes even when in contract.
I’m so glad I switched, because I hadn’t realised just how slow the other company were! Lightning Fibre has so far been fast and reliable. Definitely no complaints there.
I would have given 5 stars, but for the installation process. I had to go to work on the day of the installation, and the person I had hoped would be available to deal with the engineers let me down at the last minute, so I phoned and asked if I could be contacted 15 minutes before the engineers arrived so I could get home. They only phoned when they were actually at the property. When I arrived home, they appeared rushed, and fairly insistent that the router should be sited where they wanted (the easiest and quickest option), and not where I would have liked it. I particularly wanted it sited in my hallway because this is the most central part of the house, and I didn’t want to have to use the signal booster.
As a result , I do get a good signal in the parts of the house where I use the internet most, but nothing like as good in the room where I hardly ever use it
I would definitely recommend Lighting Fibre, but do wish the engineers would be a bit more attentive to their customer’s requirements.
**UPDATE**
Following my review, I was contacted by Lightning Fibre, who arranged for the engineers to return to my house. They moved the router and repositioned the cable, so everything is now set up how I originally requested it to be.
The connection is fast, reliable, and I now have a strong signal in the areas of my house where I use the internet the most.
Because Lightning Fibre actually listen to their customers, I’m happy to change my review to 5 stars.

I signed for fibre in December last year!
It took many months and numerous emails, but eventually we got connected.
The wait was worth while, the new speed is 3 x faster than my previous broadband provider!
The customer service is good but there are many things that they have to depend on from council digging permits to other utility providers.
