I have just had a Lightning Fibre internet connection installed at my home. Lewis and Fraser completed a difficult installation that they should rightly be proud of. They carried on with the high standard set by the infrastructure installers in that they were timely, left no mess and as far I can tell did a first class job.
One of the reasons that I chose Lightning Fibre was that they are a one stop shop, they are ISP and Connection providers, so no bouncing between companies This was demonstrated by the solving of definition problem on my computer within a very short time. Thank you Lightning Fibre

A couple of months ago, Lightning fibre dug up our road, they were quick and left everything tidy, more than can be said for their competition!
Today, Lewis and Fraser came to connect us up, and I must say I was very impressed. They discussed our requirements and agreed a plan of action, then carried it out with the minimum of fuss. In not much over an hour they had us connected with speeds many times faster than before and the intsallation was very neat.
They hadn't finished though, because my daughter's work laptop refused to connect. Lewis stayed as long as it took to make sure she was able to return to working from home. So far, I am very happy to have joined Lightning Fibre.

Initial ordering of the service was quick and painless (great communication).
The installation similar - thanks Fraser & Lewis! Did a great job in explaining how the cable could be routed, and once decided it was complete in under 2hrs. with zero mess and a tidy install.
Performance wise, it's incredible and price wise it's competitive enough! Comes with a couple of Tenda Nova Mesh boxes which means you can extend the quality of WiFi over larger distances (and useful for routing across floors).
As long as it stays reliable (so far so good!), I'll keep recommending it.

When the connection is stable it’s fantastic, never had speeds like it before.
There are some issues though:
I was promised a price on a one year contract by the customer service representative, and then at the point of ordering he said it was only valid for a 2 year contract. I questioned this and was told that it was his mistake, but they weren’t willing to honor what was originally verbally agreed. I had already cancelled my previous ISP so had to take a 2 year contract.
When they were installing they got half way through the job and then said the other engineer they needed had gone home and there was no-one else to cover, so I just had to wait until the next day for my internet to be connected with no apology.
Have had a few unexpected outages, and when I called on a Saturday I was told no-one would be out until Monday morning. This did eventually get resolved, but initial response was that I needed to wait 2 days and was only sorted when I said that wasn’t acceptable.
Second time it went down, the online help portal would not load at all. I messaged the Twitter account on my phone saying the internet was down and the online support portal was also not working and got a message back the next day to say ‘sorry you were having issues, it’s better to log these on our online support portal’.
Not the best customer service but the internet service is excellent.

Despite the owners of the building delaying the installation by seven weeks, once the team actually got started the whole job was done within two hours.

Lightning Fibre have been a breath of fresh air. The value of the service and broadband speed is unparalleled. It is easy to get through to someone and whilst we had an initial hiccup with installing the line, it was quick to rebook within the week. Broadband has been reliable thus far and super fast! So happy we came across this local company

Installation was pretty quick and we were up and running with no initial problems. We found newer devices were much quicker than previously on BT, though to be honest, devices over 5 years old, were not a lot different. We did encounter a problem with the range of the router we were given at first - we could not get a signal at the rear of our medium size house. But the customer service was good and a different router(s) mesh were brought round the next day and installed. These work a treat and we have had uninterrupted service since with none of the frequent dropouts we had with BT.
One drawback with the mesh wifi we now have - it is not wifi 6 and we can only connect on 5ghz. This may be a problem for some. When, in the future, we have more wifi 6 capable devices, I may upgrade.
All good for us at the moment and it is great to be working with a local company who seem invested in getting customer service right.

Clean and tidy installation both inside and out. Friendly staff that were prepared to listen and talk through interior location options for router. Post installation testing carried out and staff made sure I was happy with the final result. Average speeds in excess of 900 Mbps for wired connection and WiFi speeds in excess of 400 Mbps. Made a huge difference especially as working from home more often. Highly recommended.

Firstly I would like to a big a Thankyou to Ettiene and Zak, on the first install , and then at my request the relocation of the main Hub, on a second vist , free of charge.
We are experincing revluntionary download speeds of 850 to even 900 MBPS , with an upload of 700 to 800 , this can only be achieved by using a good quality Network cable / Ethanet.
All in all very happy with the service , and would definately , say this phase of the Internet , will make your life easier.

Great team, professional and polite. Nothing was a problem, went above and beyond to make sure the router was placed where i wanted it to be, which wasn't the easiest.
Sales team where great also, kept me in the loop with when the service would be active in my area, and booked me in straight away to have it all installed.

Excellent installation team, took their time to work out the best way to route the wiring to the room I wanted it in and ensured I was okay with it, kept me updated every step of the installation and cleaned/tidied up after themselves.
