Once installed we have had no problems. I only wished they had been up front about installation dates, but we were the first in the area so I will be kind.

Very helpful. Excellent service over installation. Very well done. Superb speeds. Have had some whirring on screen since but could be BBC transmissions. Will need to check on this but confident from Lightning Fibres response to date that should this be a problem. This will be sorted! Much impressed this far.

From first phone call to up and running speedy fibre broadband, this company and the people I have dealt with along the way have been courteous, helpful, polite, respectful and efficient. Would highly recommend using this company for great service, brilliant broadband and value for money.

I was left without internet when my current provider couldn't install their equipment. I contacted Rob at Lightning Fibre and he was able to get us an installation date in 10 days. However, I asked if we could get it done sooner if there was a cancellation a I work from home. The next day he called to say an Engineer would be with us! Efficient and polite comms all the way. Neat installation and super-fast internet for less than I was paying for standard broadband! So glad our supplier couldn't do the job - don't delay give them a call. NB: I am not sponsored by, or work for Lightning Fibre - I am just a delighted customer. If only all companies operated like this. Thanks to Rob for sorting out my first world problem :-)

Professional installation by Ash and Matt. They explained clearly how they would run the cable and fitted everything very neatly. The installation itself was tricky but they persevered and I am happy with the finished job.

I had a full cable install,my engineer josh was on time and very polite ,and gave full explanation of what he had to do ,he was very quick and tidyed up very well after himself,, highly recommend , lovely lad

Everyone I have met from Lightning Fibre has had a positive, can-do attitude. They have put my requirements at the top of their list. Lightning Fibre was installed by Tanya and Stu who were very professional. They were conscious of the placement of the cable and were very accommodating (even cut down part of an unwanted bush in the way!). Internet speed exceeds expectations and appears stable. We have waited excitedly for "Fibre Day" for a long long time.

However today was the day!

Dan and Charlie did the install, nice guys, quick efficient and tidy after we agreed a plan together. Very happy with that.

However my fibre is not actually live yet as the cabinet in the road is not live. I really want these local guys to do well, and I'll do another review once it's actually working. Hopefully that won't take too long.....

Awesome service! We moved to Eastbourne and expected to continue with our existing Broadband provider as we were in contract, but when they refused to provide a service I reached out to Lightning Fibre. There was a slight delay in getting the service installed, but when I asked if we could have an early site visit so we coordinated the installation with our renovation work. I was also offered an additional discount to compensate for having to wait (which covered the cost of a 4g router). The visit happened the following day, and was really helpful. The installation itself was prompt and efficient, and the service is fantastic.

A year after breaking ground and 3 months after 1st install date, 3 failed attempts and lots of "we are waiting on permits" Then an engineer arrived who just hooked us up easily with no permits required.. I had to return back to my old provider 3 times over 3 months...hopefully it gets better from here and the speeds are great! I understand there are unforseen issues that can arrise but a bit of information and updating would have made this problem easier. I am enjoying the new speeds and would still recommend lightning to anyone

My rating is not a reflection of a lukewarm experience but of a violently contrasting experience. At their best LF have been enthusiastic and thoughtful newcomers to the market returning to check our connection was working well. At their worst they have been a total and utter shambles. One department not speaking to the other so our installation team didn’t turn up despite receiving a call 24 hrs in advance asking us if we were expecting them 🤔! Then when the team did turn up the connection point in the road was in the wrong place. “No problem it will only take a week to get consent from the council to move it we’ll be back!” …. Over 6 weeks later and a lot of chasing and additional expense from our existing provider (out of contract terms!!) and we eventually got of connection. So far so good but what a journey to get there! Good luck!

Edited<br><br>The issue has been resolved. My router needed a firmware update and I havent had a problem since.<br>The update was provided out of normal business hours, This in itself is a huge plus.<br><br>The customer service is top notch, unfortunately the actual signal/connecting isnt. Its hard work. I am on my 2nd router and im still losing connection at times, I have to leep rebooting the old style router that I have.<br>My signal doesnt even reach around my flat.<br>Its a shame as I like the idea of a local based company.

We had lightning fibre installed on Friday 2/9 as we were told our close was live. We had Tanya & Tony come and do the install. They were both very professional and They even took up the block paving on the edge of the driveway as I didn’t really want it tacked along the wall and reinstated it perfectly. Sadly though (No fault of the install team) when they came to test the install it transpired the close is not live and they don’t know when it will be. It’s a shame there isn’t more communication within the company. Luckily I didn’t cancel my BT contract and am going to run both side by side until I am happy with the set up.
