Have just returned from here, our second visit this year.
A traditional English Hotel with excellent customer service.

We had an a most enjoyable stay, the hotel greatly exceeding our expectations. Stayed in a large double with bay window sea view, stunning. Staff all very nice and helpful and whilst stretched in the dining room it was efficient and we were well looked after. The menus offer a good range of choices and the food was good to excellent - my wife said her fish and chips the best ever! White linen table cloths in the dining room make such a difference and we’re most welcome.

I am leaving this review in essence for the group of 8 (eight) of us who had the pleasure of staying at The Langham Hotel this weekend
As a group we had a really lovely time at this Hotel
Neil and Wendy the 'Owners' were very engaging and they both took the time to speak with us and many of the other guests during our stay by introducing themselves which was very impressive to see
As a group (we were celebrating a 60th Birthday over the weekend) we All agreed that ALL of the staff were most attentive and professional and this included the Waiting Teams in the Restaurant and Bar, The Front of House Receptionists and the Room Service team ...
Talking with the employees over the weekend it was a real pleasure to see and hear of how proud they were working at The Langham
The breakfasts were really good each day and we had a lovely meal and entertainment at 'The Las Vegas' evening 'Dinner and Dance' on Friday evening ... great food and first class service and the band were very professional
We would definitely recommend going to This Hotel as the Standards, Décor and Comfort were really good and great value
We will ALL certainly be going back again

Had a wonderful birthday weekend here to celebrate our friends 60th, nice rooms, spotlessly clean, lovely breakfast, staff are lovely, couldn’t fault our stay and will be back. Only gave rooms a four star rating because some of our friends found the rooms too warm.

I booked the afternoon tea experience with Prosecco for my wife's birthday. A warm welcome and an excellent selection of savouries and pastries. Time was taken to talk us through the menu and they readily accommodated dietary requirements at the last minute with a smile. Ample portions meant that we had to take a box for the leftovers. Top experience right from reserving a table to walking out after the tea. Modestly priced, I would definitely recommend and visit again.

All the reviews are true about this hotel. The staff are amazing and nothing is too much trouble. My room was gorgeous and so well designed with a beautiful bathroom with a large shower cubicle.
I had a lovely sea view which just so nice to wake up to.
The breakfast is also table service which makes a change from a buffet service and the food in the bar was really nice. I didn't eat in the restaurant for lunch or dinner as this needed to be booked and we wanted flexibility but the bar food is great and serves food until 8pm.
Definitely recommend and would stay there again.

Stayed in a sea view room for the second year for the Eastbourne Airshow. Prices were around £200 a night.
Firstly, I’d like to start with the positives and suggest that this hotel hires the most kind souls in Eastbourne; the staff (most of whom I saw last year, hopefully suggesting a good working environment) are so friendly and professional, it’s really rare to get that kind of service these days and something I really appreciate.
The rooms are immaculate, like super clean, and passed all of the normal ‘hotel tests’ one can perform. The location is fab, being just a 10 minute walk away from the centre, but that also means you can escape the noise to somewhere more relaxing.
Two things I would note, however. The rooms do not have air conditioning (or at least mine didn’t, the decorations vary), and it was a very hot night. Secondly, breakfast I thought could do with some improvement. Providing jugs of juice instead of small glasses to avoid having to re ask constantly, and serving the breakfast on smaller plates or increasing the portion size.
Overall, I would definitely recommend a stay in the Langham hotel.

We recently enjoyed a Sunday lunch at the Langham. Excellent service, a great choice on the menu and made extra special by the attention to detail. The cheese trolley is a must! Great value too.
