An excellent restaurant and a good selection of food. No pizza, but that's no bad thing, especially if it deters anyone taking their kids in here. Service was good and both the food and wine excellent value too. Not too much to fault really, a good choice for any town but especially so at a seaside resort.

Italian restaurants, they're a bit two a penny, serving okay food with a friendly Mediterranean smile.... So I find myself at Laocanda Del Duca in Eastbourne, this place, is not your run of the mill Italian eatery, it is a cut above the rest, truly genuine in all respects, with all due respect, simple in decor, but clean and fresh, a genuinely fond welcome at arrival and immediate attentiveness, it was a pleasure to be served by Evalina, who was friendly and witty .The food was stunning, the scallop starter was expertly cooked and beautifully presented, the fillet steak main course was excellent, cooked exactly to my very rare blue requirements and so tender that the knife cut through it like it was soft butter. I simply cannot recommend this place enough, a shining star in a mediocre world of UK Italian restaurants, a must visit... Thank you

A lovely restaurant with excellent food. The service was quick and the food piping hot. The menu is varied and the prices most reasonable for the quality of the food. I would recommend this to all visitors to Eastbourne.

Superb food. Service friendly and efficient. Came here with friends and family for my 70th birthday - 16 of us. We all loved it. Really grateful to all at the restaurant for making it such a great occasion.

Lovely elegant food, carefully prepared authentic Italian cuisine. We were advised to book as it is very popular.
The evening was slightly marred by being overcharged when we checked the bill, said to be a mistake by a new waitress and it was corrected but it was annoying.

Had date night with my hubby here. Service was quick. Staff were very polite and friendly. Food came out piping hot and was very tasty!! Portion sizes are very good, I struggled to finish mine. Really enjoyed our evening I will definitely go back.

Excellent in every way. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and found the atmosphere, ambience. menu, service and menu really great. We will definitely put this as a good reason to enjoy a visit to Eastbourne. Altogether a great find and totally recommended.

We often visit this restaurant and take the family for birthday treats or just us two for lunch. Whatever the occasion the food and service has never disappointed. The tables are laid with crisp whit cloths and the staff are all professionally trained. The food is very special and they are always happy to help with allergies or likes and dislikes. Give it a try you will not be disappointed. We have not seen or taken small children here as it is more a formal restaurant. But they own the pizza place next door which most families like, including our grand children.

Found this gem in Eastbourne. Excellent food. Had probably the best starter of my life. Cant remember the name of it. Had goats cheese, figs, etc. Superb!
