First time visiting here - don’t know why but oh my goodness, it was what I’ve been looking for over the past 10 years - a PROPER Italian restaurant! Decor, ambience, staff, food - all absolutely perfect. Whilst we were in there, an elderly gentleman collapsed and the staff couldn’t have been more compassionate in their dealing with it, reviving him, laying him down and getting ambulance. Absolute stars. Deffo be eating here again!

We were staying in Eastbourne for one night, after walking along the sea front we passed this restaurant on the way back to our Hotel and liked the menu. We returned later and were not disappointed . We spent a very nice evening here enjoying the excellent food and the atmosphere.

The staff are friendly and efficient. The Decor is quietly Italian. The menu is vast. Lunchtime menus are interesting and competitively priced. The restaurant is very popular and I would recommend booking for peak times.

Struggled to get a table for 7 people at most Eastbourne restaurants. Thankfully, this family-run business found a table and welcomed us to their world of food and wine. We had a great meal and the wine flowed well. Really busy restaurant but always felt welcomed and very special by the staff.

Had a wonderful meal here whilst in the area for work. Staff friendly and attentive and the food is great. Real traditional Italian food freshly prepared. I had the set menu, 2 or 3 courses available with plenty of choice. I had the mozzarella, tomato and avocado salad to start which was lovely. For my main I opted for the veal in a white wine and mushroom cream sauce served with potatoes and veg which was delicious. They have a good selection of cocktails to choose from and an endless wine list. Would certainly return if in the area again.

Went for husband’s birthday. This was our first visit but we will return. We had set three course menu. Delicious soup, pasta and dessert. Staff were attentive and the food was hot and well served. I mentioned in passing that my husband could choose the table as it was his birthday. They bought out his dessert with a candle and a card. Marvellous touch!

We booked for the first sitting on a Sunday evening. The staff were very friendly and the food came out in good time. The squid ink pasta was stunning - never have I eaten such wonderful prawns. They even sand happy birthday to my son which was lovely.

We had a fabulous evening celebrating in this restaurant. We were allowed to put up birthday banners and balloons. The 3 course meal was exceptional - our party of 30 enjoyed every course. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff - they were very attentive.

This is the "old standby" for my friends and family in Eastbourne, so I have been here many times. The food is always delicious and the staff are always excellent.

We visited the restaurant to celebrate my mother in law’s very special birthday, and booked on the strength of its closeness to our hotel, and their existing trip advisor reviews. We were a party of 31 people, including children, and the service we had was excellent, nothing was ever too much trouble.
The 2 or 3 course set menu gave plenty of options, I can recommend the tomato, mozzarella and avocado salad, and the poached salmon, the veal was very popular, as well as the huge variety of pasta dishes. Most of our group were too full for desserts, but the tiramisu was delicious, the lemon pancake was very shareable; other options included ice cream, affogato, and Italian cheeses. The food was ordered table by table, and the bills were done for each table, which did make sharing the costs a bit simpler.
The waiting staff were superb, incredibly patient, and they made us feel very welcome. Thank you for making the evening go so well, a fantastically memorable night for all the right reasons.

Never been before we had some anti pasta to start with including the melted goats cheese with figs and the fresh asparagus. I had the gnocchi al Ragu for main. All was delicious, great service and nice atmosphere

After looking around Eastbourne and reading other comments on Tripadvisor I was so happy with the food and service from the very friendly staff at this cosy and welcoming restaurant. It was my 50th birthday with my wife and we would highly recommend this place to go.

We enjoyed an unhurried early evening meal here prior to a concert at the Congress Theatre which is under ten minutes' walk away from the restaurant. The food was delicious, the wine very enjoyable and the staff so efficient and friendly. We look forward to returning and working our way through the menu!

We had not booked but wanted a meal before the Theatre. It was quite busy but we were met by friendly staff. I had the calves liver which was very good and served quickly. My wife's food was also very good. Will certainly go again the next time we are in Eastbourne
