There seem to be plenty of Italian restaurants in Eastbourne and this seems to be the best. Not a great location but more than made up by a lively atmosphere, friendly service and a comprehensive Italian menu.
A case of good quality ingredients, very nicely presented and flavoursome.
Starters of Insalata Caprese and an excellent Zucchine fritter were followed by Salmon fillet and Liver were all wholesome and we only had room to share one desert. There is a simple wine list and our Verdicchio was a nice match.
Staff all wore masks or visors but that did not detract from the evening and we would certainly return on another visit to Eastbourne.
All in all very good value which was enhanced by the Eat Out to Help Out discount.

We've eaten here a couple of times before and the food and service has always been fantastic. Tonight was just as good if not better. Quality food with excellent flavours and very attentive staff. Couldn't fault it. The best meal we've had for a long time and we've eaten in some very nice restaurants. Thoroughly recommend.

We visited here on the recommendation of our hotel owners and they were able to book us a table.
The service throughout our visit was professional and efficient.There was a lively atmosphere, however the noise level wasn't intrusive. The lighting in the restaurant felt a little too bright.
It was pleasing to see an authentic Italian menu, devoid of the cliched choices normally offered in chains.We only had mains but the food was exceptional with a real depth of flavour. We chose not to have desserts due to feeling full, however these looked appetising.
The wine was served well chilled, complete with cooler which is so often missed these days.We are not local but would love to visit again should we have the opportunity.

Just enjoyed a superb meal here this evening. We moved to Eastbourne 10 months ago, but haven’t yet managed to try this place. Why did we wait so long? We were impressed with everything! We had the set menu and the quality of the food was very high. Delicious home-made minestrone soup, fat and tasty battered prawns; followed by veal with mushroom sauce served with vegetables and for me gnocchi in a Gorgonzola and cheese sauce which was so yummy I wanted to lick my plate! We were too full to order pudding. The staff were just wonderful also - friendly and attentive on a very busy (“Eat out to help out”) evening. We’ll be returning soon! Thank you!

Pretty spacious dining area, warm welcome by friendly staff.
The sardines, calves' liver in with sage and the spaghetti alle vongole were all superb, very generous portions too, so prices seemed quite reasonable to me.
Would definitely go back if in Eastbourne again.

This restaurant reckons to be everyone's favourite Italian restaurant in Eastbourne.We booked a table for the Monday evening of our stay and it was fairly quiet and we were lucky to get a table by the window. The food and service were indeed excellent and although not exactly cheap we felt happy and relaxed at the start of our weeks holiday in Eastbourne.
We had come down to Eastbourne this particular weeks it was my wife birthday on the Friday following so as we had enjoyed the experience so much we decided to rebook for the Friday evening and were assured we could have the same table by the window we had enjoyed so much.There is an old saying that you should never go anywhere twice as the second time will be dissappointing.Imagine therefore our disappointment when we turned up on my wife birthday at the restaurant to find that were not to be seated at the table we had booked but elsewhere at the back of the restaurant! The table we had requested had been replaced by a table for six people.
This was special evening for my wife and I and it was ruined, the party of five young persons who were given our table probably wouldn't have cared where they sat as they spent most of the evening on their phones1We will not be returning to this restaurant on our next visit.

Good quality food in a nice stylish spacious surroundings buy not terribly generous in portions so therefore a little bit expensive for what you get but the ambiance and qualiy make up for it.

My boyfriend and I visited Eastbourne for the first time this weekend and booked this restaurant due to all of the great reviews we read online - they were not wrong! Everything we both ordered tasted amazing and was cooked perfectly, we could not fault it. The service was also extremely good - the waiters/waitresses were very attentive and we felt very well looked after throughout our meal. The tables were all spaced out and staff wore gloves, masks and face shields, and we could see them regularly wiping surfaces so we felt very safe and comfortable eating here. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone!
