From the moment I saw Johns photography on instagram I knew he was the perfect photographer for us! My husband and I aren’t the biggest fans of having our photos taken and my husband was particularly nervous but from the pre wedding meeting to the day John made us feel so at ease.<br>On the day he made it so everyone was having the best time and there was no wondering what we need to do because he was one step ahead of everything! We booked John for our wedding from seeing him at a wedding fair! We absolutely loved his photography style and the leather bound books were stunning. We unfortunately had to postpone a year due to covid and John was so accommodating and helpful in us rescheduling! On the lead up to the day he was extremely helpful in going through the timeline and everything involved. I was nervous as I don’t feel comfortable having my photo taken and often hate how i look in them but John was amazing throughout the whole wedding day and we felt extremely comfortable and relaxed throughout it all. The photos we received are beautiful, he captured all of the finer details of our wedding (which as it was a DIY wedding, meant a lot) and captured all the special moments too. We can’t wait to choose our favourite photos for our book to be able to look at daily! I’d highly recommend John for your wedding as he will help you with almost anything non-photo related on the day!

There are not enough words to describe how incredible John is. From seeing all his previous work at The Ravenswood to our pre meeting to the big day, we knew we had chosen the best, and we were not disappointed. John made us both feel so at ease on the day, at times we barely knew he was there… but he was snapping away in the background capturing moments of the day that we missed. When it came to our couple photos, John had all the best ideas and knew exactly what we should do, as we were clueless. John was super nice and caring, with a great sense of humour, and great with all the kids in the chaos of us getting ready in the morning. Throughout the day, and after, the guests commented on how good he was. We honestly couldn’t fault John and his camera, and the best surprise was receiving our wedding gallery back after only 2 weeks!! It was the best surprise! The photos are truly amazing, and have honestly exceeded our expectations. He really did capture everything in our perfect day, and I have relived our day, every day since, through John’s photo gallery. Thank you so much!

My husband and I can not recommend John enough! We both hate having our photos taken, so the thought of having to have loads at our wedding was just terrible! But John made us feel so comfortable and relaxed. He made sure the pictures were suited to our personalities and was never pushy at all. He knew all the nest locations at our venue to take our pictures, and made sure there was plenty of time to get all the family photos too! Again, we can not recommend John enough!!

He was recommended by the venue as one of the preferred vendors and his professionalism warrants that label.<br>He is well organised, prompt and clear in his communications with us throughout the process.<br>Prior to the event he took the time to understand the wedding plan and our expectations, as well as providing some input based on his past experience. This resulted in a smooth, non stressful process that balanced us getting great photos but also giving us time to enjoy the wedding itself.<br>The shots he captured were amazing and his direction was clear and we had some fun with it. I think the photos really captured the feeling of the moments but also our guests and our own personalities.<br><br>Following the wedding he was quick to give us access to the online wedding album so we could choose what photos would end up in the physical book. We took a long time to do this part, but we never felt pressured to hit a deadline. That was probably the most difficult part of the process because all of his photos were so good but we couldn't include them all in the physical book.<br>The website for the online album to make the selections is straight forward easy to access and thankfully saves your progress so you don't have to do the whole thing in one go.<br>Once we did finalise the choices, the layout proposed was completed quickly. It needed a bit of tweeking and John took our suggestions and made a perfect layout we were happy with. He was very fast at making these changes to.<br>The photo album is luxurious and really high quality. The quality of the material of the box, the cover and the photo pages themselves are amazing. The pages are a very interesting because it isn't paper but a almost like a board so they don't crease, bend or fold and possibly even stain proof. Also it's made in such a way that when you open the page the centre fold is flush to the page so there isn't a centre crease, this allows for a more dynamic layout. Even the USB stick he provides as an inlay of material that matches the box. The USB contains the entire album as well so we can send to friends or put up on the TV easily. The photo quality fidelity is top end. When blown up to 65" OLED screen they look crisp.<br><br>We are very grateful to have chosen John as our photographer and would be happy to work with him again in future.
