My partner and I got married two weeks ago and John was recommended by the venue. It's safe to say that we can see why. From start to finish, everything about the booking and paying process was so easy and clear, and John ran through a detailed schedule of the day in a meeting beforehand which took so much pressure off of our shoulders- incredibly helpful in the midst of sorting everything else out! But what we really loved (and deserves more stars than we can give) was John and how he worked on the day. It's fair to say that neither my partner or I know what to do in front of a camera, but this wasn't a problem as John made both of us feel so confident and comfortable from the outset. He was friendly, organised and knew exactly what he was doing. For myself (and probably my partner) who were a bit flustered on the day, John was also a calming presence, not to mention adding so much joy and fun to our group photos and couple shoot, and I really think he captured the best of us. Our family and friends loved him and commented on how brilliant he was. We're really looking forward to seeing our photos from the day. We wouldn't hesitate for one second to recommend John to anybody looking for a wedding photographer, he is fabulous. Thanks so much, from Gabbie and Ben :)

We went with John as photographer for our wedding as he was the recommended supplier for our venue, The Ravenswood. Best decision we made! We had a couple of meetings with him beforehand and we were not disappointed! The photos are incredible, and what impressed us most was how subtle he was! He was always there at the right moment but was never in the way or noticeable, which was perfect!<br><br>John and his videopgrapher Warren were a massive help through the day, and did so much more than just take photos! I couldn’t recommend him enough!

When looking for our wedding photographer we loved the look of John’s work. We had a zoom meeting with John a couple of weeks before the wedding to talk things through and it was clear he was already very prepared and was so helpful. On the wedding day John was absolutely fantastic, he was approachable and friendly, he had everything very well planned out with timings and helped to make the day go smoothly ensuring every special moment was captured. He was very professional but also fun and we had lots of laughs. All of our guests had great things to say about him and were very impressed. We got married in October 2023 and it really was the best day of our lives. One of the things I love to do is look through old photos and relive old memories. So choosing the best photographer for our special day was so important and john was just that.<br><br>From the moment we contacted john he gave us all the different options and time to decide on the best package for us. We had a zoom call a few weeks prior to the wedding which really put us at ease with how comfortable he made us feel about our day as being centre of the attention is not something we are normally part of.<br><br>On the wedding day John arrived promptly in the morning with plenty of time to take loads of photos of general bits around the wedding before making both of us feel like we were the most special people. Throughout the entire day John was making sure he captured photos of as many people as he could and not just staged but also candid photos too.<br><br>After receiving our photos we are now stuck with the difficult decision of choosing our favourites as there are so many amazing ones to go in the book.<br><br>We really can’t thank John enough for making our wedding day go as smoothly as it did and to have captured every moment just the way it felt at the time.

Wow wow wow.<br>John did our wedding photography back in November 2023 at Highley Manor. Not only was John so professional and thorough but he was fun and made us both feel so at ease!<br>From start to finish John has been amazing. We had a zoom meeting a few weeks prior to our wedding day which made us feel so excited for the big day and John was able to answer all our queries and questions.<br>On our wedding day, John barely made himself known (in a good way)! He captured everything about our day so that we had lots of memories to look back on! The quality of the final photographs were incredible! We spent hours looking through our photos and it was magical reliving every second!<br>We would 100% recommend John as a photographer for any occasion - he lived up to his 5 stars and we couldn’t be happier to have had him capture our wedding day. Could not recommend a better photographer. He made mine and my wife's day the most picturesque perfect day. Our whole family felt at ease with John and he was worth every penny we spent on him. It took my wife a lot of convincing for me to book John but I can tell you that he is 100% worth it! Fantastic guy and I cannot express how much he makes you feel at ease throughout a stressful day!

Time to leave John his well deserved review.. we have just received our final images and wow, what wonderful photos we have to look back on.
We'll start from the beginning, John has been easily contactable, quick to respond and so lovely to work with.
On the day he made everyone feel so comfortable, my now husband and in laws still talk about how personable and friendly John was on the day, making everyone feel at ease, while also blending in and half the time we didn't even notice he was there!
John explained our time frame on the day, where he'd be and when, what photos he was going to try to get, and this helped our day to flow naturally. He took into consideration our small children, getting the photos that included them early on so they could run off and play.
I was worried that the family photos would be difficult to gather everyone together and that it would take up too much of the drinks reception, but John was armed with his list of what pictures we wanted, and it was over before we knew it!
John is well loved and recommended at our wedding venue. And we can see why! He has a great relationship with the staff there and he played such a big part on our day going smoothly. He is so well organised, so professional, and so friendly, he felt like he was one of our guests!

A few weeks before the wedding we had a video call with John to discuss timings of the day and what we wanted photographed. On the day John was very organised and efficient, making sure we didn't spend the whole day posing for photos. So many guests commented on how great John was.

The day itself was great - John was on the ball and had timings down to a T to allow us to just enjoy the day. He knew the venue very well and was a pleasure to spend time with. We felt completely comfortable during the whole process.
We have recently received out photos and they amazing! Such good quality and so many great shots. How we are supposed to pick a small number for prints etc is going to be a real challenge! Currently narrowed it down to 250 favourites!
We would definitely recommend John, the photos are excellent!
