Lovely park, it would be nice if there was a sensory park for SEN children, but other than that nothing to really complain about. Ice cream is always close by, alongside hot food, food for sale to feed the local wildlife and a huge field just opposite for football and ball games alike.

Playground: Large playground near the rear of the park.

Restrooms: Toilet facilities by the cafe.

Beautiful park, always a pleasure to visit and enjoy both the lake area and the woods. However, I had a full breakfast in the cafe and it was probably the worst I’ve ever been presented with

Enjoyable walks all over the ground place. Busy with football and rugby being played all over the grounds.

Playground: Busy with families.

Restrooms: Accommodatingly useful.

Dog-friendliness: Always busy..., but, well worth it.

Picnic area: Busy with squirrels, all over the park... You sure do see all sorts of birds indeed.

Walking in Hampden Park Park and Fields is a delightful experience that offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. This green oasis, provides a perfect blend of natural beauty and recreational opportunities. I great place to catch the sunrise when the light is right.

Me and my mum went to the park at the weekend. We went for a walk, fed the ducks and sat on the bench to chill out at the park. It is a lovely place, it was brilliant.

Me and my sister Megan went there to go for a walk. We both walked around the lake and fed the ducks. It was fantastic, I would like to go there again.

I went with my mum to the park to go for a walk. We walked around the lake and saw the ducks. We even saw some people with dogs when we went to the park. My best bit of the park was walking around the lake.

Hampden Park, Eastbourne opened on 12th August 1902. The land was formerly owned by Lord Willingdon but sold to Eastbourne Corporation in 1901 to create the first publicly owned park in Eastbourne.

An amazing playground, pond, friendly wildlife and more! It's not a very nice place if it's been raining, but every other time I would choose it over anywhere else!

Our day out at Hampden Park
I went for a walk with my family and parents.
It’s excellent and has a play park. Has a pond with lots of ducks and wildlife. Surrounding the pond are lots of woods with walking paths, perfect for autumn walks 😊
There are also tennis courts, bowls and a skate park.
Not really happy with the cafe and toilets, thus 4 stars.
The staff at the cafe were lovely ( tbh very friendly) but the place is not really clean with less facilities and the toilets were dirty.
